This is a random collection of stories that take place over the span of ten seconds. I might add more over time, I'm not sure.

The note drops on the table, I snatch it up and read it. "You have five seconds to run." I listen to the note, and sprint out of the cafe. I turn around and see it explode behind me. My body goes numb as I think of all the people I know in there.

I run and jump off the cliff, the fall is exhilarating, and terrifying. My body crashes into the water, and I sink to the roughly six foot deep bottom and push up. I break the surface and call up to Sophie, "Your turn!"

He kisses me, and I knee him in the groin. I yell at him words I can't remember, the whole thing a blur. Then I run faster than I've ever run before, ran as fast as a cheetah to the bathroom. Then I sink to the floor and break down crying.

I look out at the stars and allow myself to make one wish. Only one, I've never wished for anything in my life. I wished that I could have my mom back and that I can be happy.
