"Jeremy?" You said turning around to face the voice. Your eyes met only for a second, but you quickly tore your gaze from his.
"Hi," he replied. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. As you looked at him it was as if nothing changed. Jeremy still had his bright blue eyes you could get lost in. His hair was perfect chocolate swirls on his beautiful skin. And he was still the 'Tall Ass' you knew.
"H-hi,"
"Um can I talk to you, alone?" Jeremy stated.
You nodded, giving Rich your luggage, "Of course! Go ahead guys!" You smiled waving the others off.
"Um, look Y/n I um I am really sorry." Jeremy apologized as soon as they left the two of you alone.
"Its fine." You responded smiling.
"No! Y/n I HURT you. I was so blinded by my love for Christine that I didn't realize how right you were. I left behind a friendship that never should of have been broken! I cost you your SQUIP! Dammit! I screwed up Y/n, and and I-"
"Like I said it's Ok. I got farther than I ever wanted without it. I have the perfect life. And I will always forgive you, " you reassured him.
"But I-"
"Jeremy!" You laughed placing a finger gently on his lips "Listen. You didn't ruin my life! I have everything I've ever wanted. A great job, a good groups of friends and you back in my life." You fought the tears as you spoke. You went on your tip toes and kissed him on the soft lips you yearned for so long.
It was only a moment. A spark. You walked away to your friends as you left a shocked Jeremy behind.Everything was normal now. And you liked it that way.
