"The lie of the party" A Virgil X Reader -Part One-

Chapter four: "Any suggestions?"

Virgil's P.O.V.

Riley had been acting pretty normal up until, oh, I don't know... I first met her. She just  seemed so... uneasy about something. Even when I'd first met her. I'd thought last night might've just been because of tiredness and lack of mental stability from her having a long day, but all day today she's been acting even more... Odd.
She spent the majority of her day in her room, I thought I'd even heard her talking to herself a few times. The only time she came out at all was when her and Thomas recorded a video, then she edited it in her room and stayed in their for the rest of the day. She seems quite secretive about something... I just don't know what yet. And Thomas as usual just like all of the others are totally and utterly oblivious to it.
Then, this morning as I moped down the stairs late in the morning checking my tumblr feed like I usually do, I heard her little innocent "phone call" with her friend Sabrina...
A friend's house, really? She was showing every possible symptom of nervousness, secretiveness and anxiety that I could possibly think of... trust me, I WOULD KNOW.

•nervous laughter

This girl is playing Thomas...
and all the other sides. She knows that him and Roman and Logan and Patton are to easily smitten by a simple sweet smile or a kindly giggled thank you.

I don't know what she's up to, but I'm hellbent on finding out... Tonight.

I grab my sweatshirt and put it on, and shove my phone and ear buds into my sweatshirt pocket, then I nonchalantly walk downstairs, snatch the car keys from the kitchen counter and yell "peace out, I'm goin' for a walk. Be back sometime. Don't text me. "

Narrators P.O.V.
Roman and Logan blatantly stare at the already closed door and Logan mutters aloud, his gaze still fixated on the door, "going for a walk with car keys?" Roman chuckles in his Prince like tone and says "aww, poor guy probably forget how to unlock a door... " Logan gives Roman a perplexed look, shakes his head and continues on with his evening.

-Time Skip 30 Minutes-
Meanwhile at the nightclub~

Riley's P.O.V.

Me, Sabrina and Marissa were nearly ready to perform, it was a pretty decent size crowd here tonight... Probably around four hundred give or take? You see what we'd do is find out what tracks were playing at the club that night, we'd make routines in advance for every single track, and we'd usually lip sing to the lyrics as well... Mainly me because I'm the lead. We'd have a few pre picked tracks, and then later in the show we'd take track suggestions from the crowd.
The first track we had a routine to was coincidentally my favorite track of the night... I was on center stage, sabrina was on my right and Marissa was on my left, the crowd settled as I introduced ourselves and began lip singing to the first track...
(insert a hip hop dance routine here)

After the first track, the crowd became quite hyped, we performed two more of our pre rehearsed tracks, then to close for the night I decided to take two suggestions... I chose the first, which was the song "Lone Ranger" by Rachel Platten... Sweet! Another one of my favorites.
