"It's weird going to our — the café alone. I was almost tempted to order what we always used to get when we'd go there late at night, but I refrained. And you know, Rosie told me about how she was confused when you showed up with Lucy by your side instead of me. I told her that we aren't together anymore, and saying that out loud made me order a plain black coffee to go, because if I stayed there any longer to wait for what I was originally planning on getting, I would've cried in the middle of the shop instead of on the streets as I walked back home. The coffee was okay, but I would've enjoyed half a large chocolate chip muffin in our booth with you a lot more. I didn't ask her, so I'll ask you instead, even though I know you're never going to hear this and that all of these are probably going straight to the bin: what did you order for you and her the last time you guys went? How often do you two go? Maybe I'll catch you guys there sometime. That'll be the day."
