I keep shaking my head over the fact I spent a lot of time on the illustration just to show less than half of it on the cover, haha. I wanted to try something new hence the half effect.
It's no secret I mostly use & manipulate stock in my covers, but now I'm shifting to exploring more art styles (vectors, vexels, digital paintings, flat illustrations, pixel art, etc) to discover mine. That doesn't mean I'll stop using stock lol as creating art is time-consuming and it makes more sense to use the resources at my disposal, but it'll be cool to dive into this medium and especially create more BIPOC stock as these are quite scarce.

Remember that half art face trend thingy on social media a while back? It was the one where artists would draw half of a photo of themselves in their art style. Yeah, I was inspired by that and the amazing wontaen whose vectors are eye candy and continues to encourage me <3
