I sob as my aunt drives me to the hospital.
She lays a hand on my shoulder, "Honey, she'll be okay, they'll sa-"
"No! What if they can't save her! What if she w-won't make I-it!" I rest my head in my heads sobbing louder than before.
We make it to the hospital and I get out, I shut the door.
We walk to the doors and they slide open.
We go to the front desk, "excuse me, um, where here for Carrie, Carrie Charles" my aunt speaks quietly and tiredly.
"Yes, room 324" the kind, old lady speaks pointing down a hallway.
We reach the room and walk in.
My aunt follows me but I put my arm in front of her.
"I wanna go in by myself." I say blandly without looking at her.
She nods her eyes brimming with tears.
I walk in and shut the door.
"James?" My mom asks quietly.
"Yes mom, it's me, your son." I turn around and walk to the side of the bed, pulling up a chair, I sit down.
She cupped my cheeks, "I'm sorry James."
I close my eyes, tears seeping out.
"Sorry?" I speak with my teeth touching.
"Sorry, mom?! You're sorry!?" I yell making her flinch.
"You can't do that, mom! You know that the only thing I have is you! Dad left us! He left us and you go and try to kill yourself. Do you know what would have happened to me? No, you don't! Because the only fucking thing you ever think about is your fucking self and I'm tired of it!"
"J-James, please." Tears fall down her face.
"No! No, mom, just, no. Don't talk to me. I'm moving out soon." I run out the room, grabbing my aunts keys.
"Tell me when to pick you up." I whisper
I walk outside, rain pouring on top of me.
I slid into the car and put the key in the ignition.
It roared to life and I backed out of the parking lot.

"Wonder what happened." I roll my eyes.
"Why?" I blandly ask
"Because, James is our new friend." He smiles.
I scoff and continue to scroll through my phone.

I slam the door shut and throw the the keys on the table.
I stomp my way to the kitchen, open the fridge, grab a pint of ice cream, and grab a whole bunch of snacks.
I run up to my room and binge watch Netflix.
