Sam Arrives In Kansas - Chapter 9

Colby's p.o.v

I was sat in the living room watching some tv with my mom, my dad had been called to work on an emergency, so that left me and my mom alone.

"What happened in LA, darling ?" She asked sounding really concerned for me

"I got in an accident, it's nothing to worry about" I told her

"Yes, it is you are hurt" she said looking sad

"Mom I'm here, I'm fine" I said but that was a lie, I wasn't fine, not even close and all I could do was think about sam.

"Do you want something to eat ?" She said waking to the kitchen.

"No mom, you've already fed me twice since I arrived" I said now feeling a bit annoyed

I had a drink of water and pulled out my laptop to watch some YouTube videos but I realised sam hadn't uploaded his video, which was really weird.

I watched Corey's vlog and in it he mentioned sam wasn't home. Wow he moved on quick I thought to myself, thinking he hadn't even seen the note and wasn't worried at all.  Then Corey mentioned me saying how I wasn't in la and I had gone home to recover from my accident.

Shortly after my twitter blew up, fans from all over the world were tweeting me and I decided to answer some questions.

One tweeted :  Are you okay, Colby ?

I answered : I'm fine, just resting up in my home town away from stress that I don't need.

Another one said :  Are you still making YouTube videos ?

I answered:  Yes I am but I will be taking a break from YouTube for a short while

Another one asked : Is sam back in Kansas with you ?

I Answered:  No as far as I know sam is still in la and he will be solely in control of the sam and Colby channel

The last question said :  Is this the end of sam and Colby ?

I Answered : No, never it's just beginning, watch out guys I'll be back pretty soon.

Then I put down my phone and continued watching a film with my mom, we had been watching the film for about 20 minutes when someone knocked on the door.

"I'll get it honey, you just stay there" she said getting up off the couch

"Hey sam, how are you ?" I heard my mom say and I couldn't believe my ears

"Fine thanks, is Colby here ?" I heard a familiar voice say back

Then in walked sam.

Sam's p.o.v

Colby's mom answered the door she let me in, I walked in and saw Colby chilled out on the couch.

"What are you doing here, sam ?" He said looking really nervous

"I'm here to help my best friend" I replied knowing I loved him more than before

"You came all this way but why ?" He asked again as though he was confused

"Because you are my best friend" I said again

"I'll leave you boys to talk" Colby's mom said, she left the house and drove off in the car

I sat next to Colby and neither of us spoke for 10 minutes straight, it was like we were on pause.

" So why didn't you tell me ?" I asked even though I had a thought he didn't want to answer I needed to know

"I didn't want to worry you and I needed to get away from la for a while" he said looking down at the floor

"Do you have any idea what went through my mind when I couldn't find you in your bed ?" I suppose you were pretty worried

"Worried, worries doesn't cover it , I know you Colby and because I know you so well I thought you might have hurt yourself" i told him my hands shaking

"No I couldn't do that, too much keeping me here" Colby said looking right at me

"I was certain you left because of me and what I said" I told him even though I read his note

" No I'm glad you told me cause otherwise I wouldn't have known I felt the same way" Colby said still looking me directly in the eyes

"You do ?" I questioned and he lent closer to me and held my hand

I had never felt this kind of connection with Katrina, I had never felt this with anyone.

"Do you want to watch this film with me ?" He asked pressing play

"Sure, Okay" I said and before long Colby was leant on my chest.

"I love you" he said just as the film finished

"I love you too" I replied finally the words I had been waiting to hear for so long.
