Chapter 08: KISSING GAME

I surprisingly enjoyed their company because they were crazy, especially Jett. They always teases Caleb because he and his girlfriend kept on kissing and almost making out in front of us and I think everyone was getting drunk already, except for Hal.

I got to know them better and they also placed me in the hot seat for a few minutes saying they wanted to get to know me better too.

They decided to go down the dance floor and I went with them, of course, because I didn't want to be left alone in the booth.

They were already and magically picked some girls to dance with which was amazing, making me wonder how the hell did they do it?

I was going to give up and maybe dance alone when a girl approached me.

"Looking for someone to dance with?" She smiled and I smiled back.

"Yeah. I was waiting for you." I made my voice louder because of the music.

She chuckled and wrapped her arms around my neck as we moved our bodies with the beat.

"I'm Will." I said.

"Marianne."

She had a soft smile and beautiful face that was famed by her dark wavy hair.

"I'm glad you saw me." Or else I will be dancing alone.

She chuckled but I couldn't hear it because of the loud music.

"Same."

I smiled and my eyes caught of Hal dancing with another girl and I felt like I was caught doing a crime when his eyes also met mine. I looked away immediately and smiled at Marianne.

"It's called 'Kissing Game'" Caleb announced. I frowned and I heard some of then groaned.

We were gathered back to the booth with the girls they danced with and they wanted to play a game. They looked so excited about the game, especially the girls.

Jett chuckled. "I made that game." He proudly said.

Caleb grabbed an empty bottle of alcohol and placed it at the center of the table horizontally. "Spin the bottle and he or she will kiss the one who will get pointed by the bottle in the lips." Caleb explained.

"What if it's a guy?" I asked and Caleb smiled.

"Baby, you got to kiss the lucky guy." Caleb said and the boys laughed.

"I got to kiss these guys for a hundred times because of this fucking game!" Jason said and they chuckled.

Seriously?

"No buts and excuses." Alex said.

"I'll go first." Caleb said and spun the bottle. Everyone was looking at the spinning battle and anticipating where it would point while I was still confused of what was happening. There is no way I would kiss a guy!

They all laughed and cheered when the bottle pointed at Jason.

"Bro!" Jason exclaimed while raising his arms.

Caleb turned to his girlfriend first and kissed her before he stood up and kissed Jason on the lips! Our booth was the noisiest but the loud music was masking it.

I saw their lips moving before they cut the kiss. I didn't think I could do it. I felt so nervous looking at the bottle after Jason spun it, hunting for his kiss buddy.

My heart almost jumped when the bottle slowed down and it almost pointed at me but thank god it stopped at Alex's girl who was beside me.

Caleb laughed at me when he saw how I looked so nervous and tensed that I got to drink another shot of alcohol. The game went on like that. Kissing whoever will get pointed until it finally pointed to Hal. It was one of Jett's girl who got Hal and she happily stood up and leaned closer to Hal and pressed their lips. The girl had her way to Hal for a second before they cut their lips and Hal spun he bottle.

Everyone was paying attention while cheering Alex and my name because Alex and I haven't got pointed yet.

My heart almost stopped when the bottle pointed at me and Jett and Alex laughed so hard.

I could feel my heart beating so fast inside my chest and I watched Hal stood up and Jason made me stand up also since a girl were in between us.

Dammit. It's just a fucking kiss anyway.

Hal leaned closer and pressed his lips on mine. His lips was soft and I felt it moved then before he pulled back. It was so brief. My heart was pounding and I didn't understand what I was feeling from kissing another guy.

"C'mon! You call that a kiss?" Alex asked and they all agreed.

"I'm good." I said. I spun the bottle and I didn't care anymore if who am was going to kiss next.

The bottle stopped pointing to Hal again and they all roared and shouted, especially Alex. I never felt so flustered until that time that my face was heating up.

Oh, God. Help me.

I glanced and leaned to Hal and the girl between us moved her body back. I kissed him and I felt his hand on my cheek as he kissed me for real, our lips moving.

I couldn't even hear the blaring music in that place or their cheers and shouts, only my loud heartbeat in my chest.
