It wasn't easy pacifying Xander. I often have a hard time attending to all his needs and do my job as his wife. The next hours with him went well. He was able to do his jobs even outside office. " Cheers to the success!" Sigaw ni Shey. Kasalukuyan kase kaming nandito sa may veranda ng isang mamahaling Italian restaurant. Mini party house ang theme ng restaurant. Lahat ng crews at co workers namin ay kasama sa selebrasyon. The run way was successful. It went well according to plan. Maraming napili sa mga designs namin, nakapila narin ang mga affiliates namin.

I was sitted near Caden, one of our model. My ex suitor. He was really a persistent one. Kahit paulit ulit ko siyang bastedin ay para itong hindi napapagod at patuloy parin sa panliligaw sa akin. I wasn't that drunk not to know that something is wrong with how he looks at me right now. His eyes were screaming danger and lust. It was as if my system is mimicking an alarm inside me, notifying me of this strange feeling I am into now.

" Caden, you still want another shot?" I heard Shey ask him. As if on cue, he nodded and took the bottle of beer, Shey handed him. My mind was filled with a different emotion. It took a minute when I suddenly heard my phone beep, It was my husband calling me.

10:00 in the evening. Hindi na ako magtataka pa kung bakit hinahanap na ako ng aking asawa. I scrolled down my text messages

He had multiple text messages few hours ago. I know he's too busy with work and everything. Ngayon lang siguro siya nagkaroon ng free time.

" Hello" Panimula ko ng angatin ko ang tawag niya.

" It's been a long day. My eyes are getting heavy. My system's tired. I badly want my medicine but she's not home" His voice seems so tired and needy. It was raspy as if he was moaning. Agad akong nakaramdam ng kagustuhang umuwi na lang para daluhan ang aking asawa.

" I'll be home in a few minutes." Saglit kong untag ngunit agad siyang nagsalita.

" I'll come over there, I'll be fetching you. I don't want you driving this hour" His voice was still the same. Hindi ko alam ngunit ramdam ko ang panlalamig niya sa kanyang boses. Yung boses niya na para bang nagtatampo na ewan. I can't really calculate everything just by the mere hearing of his voice but I know that something is quite bothering me as of the moment. I tried to stand up but I felt a hand on my waist. I mentally cursed at Caden's sudden act.

" Where are you going?" His voice was full of authority. I tried removing his firm hand on my waist but he is just so strong for me.

" Please. I need to leave." My husband needs me.

I cleared my throat.

" Everyone. I guess I need to leave early tonight. Something just came up" I smiled for everybody. Agad ko namang napansin ang pagtuon ng tingin ng lahat sa kamay ni Caden na nakaangkla sa aking beywang.

" Sit down" Maawtoridad niyang wika. He damn knows I need to go home. I don't even know why he is acting strange all of a sudden. But he's drunk.

At patuloy parin siya sa pag-inom. I closed my eyes before sitting down. Agad kong binalingan si Shey at Kelly na nakaupo sa harap ko. They know about me and Caden. Alam din nilang hanggang ngayon ay iba parin ang pakikitungo sa akin ni Caden. He doesn't know I got married when I went home.

" I think Jerry needs to leave early now. Emergencies are to be given priority and we all know that guys." But as soon as Shey finished speaking, Caden forcefully placed his own bottle of beer on the table. It caught all of our attention. Pilipino din si Caden. He grew up in Italy with his grandparents. We both once worked in a coffee shop before. We became friends. Nagiba lang ang aming pakikitungo sa isa't isa ng magsimula na siyang manligaw sa akin.
