Time

My time is ticking like a time bomb. Whatever is happening with my life now, I cannot deny the fact that I am surrounded with his undying love. Araw araw ipinapakita ng aking asawa kung gaano niya ako kamahal. I cannot ask for anything anymore.

And now that I am positive that I am having a life in my womb. I smiled. Five weeks after I thought I wasn't pregnant, I took another pregnancy test, I just knew that something's wrong with my system. At malabong hindi ako mabubuntis kung halos gabi gabi ako hinahalay ng asawa ko. He is the master of romance in bed. He knows how to lure a woman on his bed. And he succeeded.

Ngayong araw ay nakaplano na pupunta ako opisina. It's my usual routine. Ngunit habang dumadaan ang mga araw, nararamdaman kong umiiba na din ang gusto ko. I suddenly wanted something else. I love designing. I love drawing, sketching.

But I suddenly loved the idea of cooking, cleaning the house, doing the laundry. I don't seriously know what is wrong with me. There are times that I suddenly just wanted to sit down and look at my house. Para akong nakakaramdam ng matinding lungkot. This must be pregnancy hormones.

Scratch the work. I thought to myself. I need to go out to the grocery store. I wanted to enjoy myself picking all the foods that I wanted.

I suddenly felt the urge to palm my tummy. It's still flat like the usual. I'm two weeks pregnant with my husband's child ofcourse. That bastard, he was able to successfully deposit a live sperm in my womb and got me pregnant in no time. I told him I needed two years, he didn't want the idea of it that's why he tricked me into this situation. He got me pregnant. I looked at my time watch, It was already 10:30 in the morning. I smiled. It's still too early indeed.

Agad naman akong nakatanggap ng tawag mula kay Shey. I know what this beautiful gay friend if mine would greet me with.

" Kamusta ang buntis!" Bungad niya. Only Shey and Kelly knows I'm pregnant. Alam kong madaya sa parte ni Xander ang ginagawa ko ngunit hindi ko alam kung ano nga ba ang kinakatakot ko at ayokong sabihin sa kanya na buntis ako. Maybe it was because he once told me that he would take me back to the Philippines once I get pregnant. And I badly don't want it yet. Mahirap basta basta nalang lisanin ang trabahong pinaghirapan kong kamtan ng ilang taon.

" My husband will be home in an hour. I have to make it fast. Kailangan nandun ako sa bahay bago siya makauwi" Wika ko kay Shey.

" Ay, iba na talaga ang nagdadalantao. Hanep!" Natatawang saad ni Shey sa kabilang linya.

" O sha sige na! Pasalamat ka at buntis ka. 'Tong si Kelly, dagsahan ang manliligaw! Lumalandi na ang lola mo" Saad na naman ni Shey na napangiti sa akin.

" Mukhang ikaw lang ata ang walang love life Shey" Untag ko sa kanya. Alam kong napasimangot siya sa kabilang linya.

" Oo na ikaw na ang nagwagi! I'll e-mail you the latest designs for the board's approval." I told Shey.

" Okay. I'll be checking it out once it notified me" Shey said. We baded our goodbyes before ending the call.

Naglalakad lakad ako sa may vegetable corner ng maramdaman kong may humawak sa braso ko. Napapitlag ako ng maramdaman ko iyon.

" Hi " Nakangiting wika sa akin ni Riel.

" Hi!" Tila ba'y gulat ko ding wika sa kanya. Nakakagulat naman kase at biglaan ko na lamang makasalubong si Riel.

" Kamusta ka na Sandok" Untag niya bago napayakap sa akin.

" Himala ata at nandito ka sa grocery store, Palanggana" Tanong ko sa kanya.
