STORY WIDE DISCLAMER: I don't own any of the Eragon or Percy Jackson characters or their story. This is truly unfinished so anyone who would like to take this idea and make their own story, feel free. I hope you enjoy the little bit I did write.

Eragon's pov

I was sick of the same boring scenery of trees and tall grass. I might have even appreciated if we where back in the middle of the ocean again, but no such luck. The elves, Saphira, and I had been going down this river for at least a month searching for a good place to rase the dragons. We couldn't find anything! Saphira kept telling me to relax and that we would find the right place soon, but would we. What if we never found a place to rase the dragon eggs what would we do then?
Saphira feeling my raging thoughts and said to me 'Little one would you like to fly with me to calm your thoughts?'
'Sure' I replied.
So she dove down from above to land in the river next to the boat so I could climb on. I whooped as she surged out of the water. With every flap of her mighty wings flying higher.
We flew for what seemed hours enjoying each others company then suddenly Saphira dove down towards the ship. I yelped and asked her 'What are you doing?'
'The elves need to speak with us,' was her quick reply.
As soon as Saphira landed in the water by the ship, and I vaulted of her back landing on the ship then I hurried toward where the elves where. Once I was near them I asked Blödhgarm "What do you need?"
"We found a girl sneaking along the bank of the river, and captured her for questioning" Blödhgarm answered.
"Well, where is she?" I asked for some reason feeling inpatient.
"Right here" he said steeping of to the side revealing a girl.
The girl before me was had carmel colored hair that reached her waist and blue eyes. She looked strong and had a fierce look in her eyes.
"Who are you" I asked.
"Tyler Clayton, and who are you?" she said cautiously.
"I am Eragon son of Brom. What what are you doing following my ship,"I said.
"I was sent to find out if you were friend or foe" she said.
"Sent by whom?" I asked, again feeling inpatient for no reason.
"If you are a friend then I will show you, if you are our foe then you will get no information from me" she stated calmly.
I couldn't help feeling impressed by her courage then I replied "I have no reason to be your foe, but if you give me a reason to distrust you then I may have to kill you."
"I understand" she said, so I told one of the elves to untie her.
"You said you would show me who sent you" I said.
"Yes I did" she replies.
"So where should we go," I asked.
"Just follow the river until you reach a lake. Once you reach the lake I will give you additional instructions." she said.

Percy's pov

I was sitting by the campfire with Annabeth during the singalong enjoying my self. We had defeated Kronos, and life was good. Lots of new campers kept stumbling over the camp boundaries, so there were lots of new faces. The only bad thing had been a satyr that told Chiron he had seen a ship coming up the river that connected to the canoe lake, so Chiron had sent Tyler Clayton to figure out if the ship was their friend or foe. Tyler was a daughter of Apollo and a newish camper, but is a great fighter, very stealthy, and is quite diplomatic. There was no doubt that she could take care of the ship and the people on it, if necessary.
Thats when Annabeth noticed the far away look on my face, and asked "What are you thinking about seaweed brain?"
"Nothin" I said.
"If you say so," was her reply as she leaned her head on my shoulder. I sighed wishing every moment could be perfect like this one.
