Yasmin's POV

"Alright go grab your document real quick. I am going to see how Swa is doing, since you refused to cancel the diner for her. We could go on a date another day."

"Nah, it's just a cold. She is feeling a lot better. Let's see her and head out okay?" Malik answered, but I saw something flickering in his eyes, it was too quick for me to determine what it was

Getting off the car, with Malik on my side, I try my best not to fall with these high heels on. He hold my hand afterward and we go inside. Opening the door, what surprised me was the fact that it was too calm and all dark. That's weird, because the lights are always on, specially the one in the kitchen. I didn't get to finish my thoughts that I heard a loud "surprise", and the lights were all on at once, I turn around, I see a Swa in a gorgeous dress, looking everything but sick, Tony in a suit with a smirk on his face, my Dad with a smile on his face, Mama Hanifah (Fatimah's mother), Mama Tasmeem, both sitting down together, when did they get here? Fatimah with a grin that covered her face and now, little Omar running to give me a hug. I get down and give him a hug

"Hey buddy" I said smiling from ear to ear. With his small hands, he swipe them across my cheeks

"Why are you crying sister, are you sad?" He asked a little too worried

"No baby, these are tears of happiness, I am so happy to see all of you" I answered looking at each and everyone of them

"You like our surprise, don't you?" He smiled and a cute dimple appeared on his left cheek

"This is amazing, thank you guys" I grinned and looked at Malik who tilted his head on the side with a smirk on his face. I look around and see the whole living room decorated and the table filled with food, everything looked so beautiful, well prepared.

"Well is this the Swa that you told me was sick, and the document you need to give to Tony after our date?" I punched him lightly on the arm, trying to stop my tears of joy from falling, I was so happy, surprised that I didn't know what to say

"Well sis, don't be too happy, because you just sealed your fate with the devil, I feel so bad for you" said Swa as she held my arm on one side, and Fatimah on the other. I can't believe none of them told me about this whole surprise

Fatimah winked at me "Don't give me that look, it's all Malik's idea, and if I told you, it wouldn't have been a surprise now would it?"

I just roll my eyes and they drag me all the way to the table in front of the food

"You must be famished after all that exercise huh" Swa wiggled her eyebrows, what the hell

"Oh Gosh, no, not that too meen , judging from your red face, something happened huh" Fatima elbowed me

"Noo" I answered a little too loudly for my taste "Anyways let's keep it PG 13"
Turning around, I see my Dad looking at me

"Excuse me ladies" I told them as I advance towards him. I see hind nodding his head, so I shift from one leg to the other "Hey Dad"

"Hello Yasmin, can I speak to you on the side for a second?" He asked, and judging from his expression, he is almost begging me. I guess it's time I spoke to him.

"Sure, let's go in the kitchen" I replied with a smile. I turn around and see Malik looking at me questioningly, I just nod my head to let him know it was alright
