-Four Months Later-
"Avery you ready to go?" Kendall asked me. Everyone in my family and friends learned sing langue for me but Kendall learned enough to be my translator.
"Yeah" I told her. I honestly hate talking without hearing my voice but I do it anyway Bc I feel like people shouldn't have to read my signs they have already done so much for me.
We got to Jimmy Kimmel Live and Kendall was sitting in a chair beside me ready to sign anything he says.
"Tonight we have the lovely Avery Kardashian-West" Kendall signed.
"Hi" I waved into the crowded.
"So Avery what is it like to be deaf?" Kendall signed what he said. Then she said, "You don't ask a deaf person that"
"Calm down Ken" I signed back.
"Well um it's hard to not be able to hear my voice when I talk and it's really hard to not be able to sing again. But what is the hardest is not being able to hear the voices of the people I love. I'm terrified that one day I'm going to forget what their voice sounds like" I told Jimmy with a tear falling down my face.
"Aww Avery" Ken signed.
"You know there's ways for people who are deaf to sing. They just have to have faith in their voice and pitches. You can feel the vibrations though the floor" Jimmy said and Kendall signed it.
"I'll try it" I smiled.
