Your gaze was locked on Jin, following his broad form as he moved down the corridor with one of his friends. He was just walking and yet, he looked so ethereal. He carried himself with such poise and grace—it was captivating, but not as captivating as the new style he'd been sporting for the last couple months. His dark, fluffy hair bounced as he walked, the curled ends adding volume to his shiny locks and making him look softer.

"He's so pretty." You sighed out dreamily, leaning against the brick wall you were standing by.
"You've got it bad." Hoseok laughed.
"What?"
"You're head over heels for Jin."
"I am not." You denied even though you knew it was painfully obvious that you were.
"You make googly eyes at him almost every day. Not to mention when he tries to have a conversation with you, you get all nervous and start spouting nonsense."
"I can't help it. He makes me nervous."
"How do you expect to get close with him if you can't even hold a conversation?"
"I don't know." You frowned, letting out a huff as you realized he as right. "I'm hopeless."
"No you're not. You've just gotta talk to him. Just try and have a calm, normal, conversation without getting all up in your head, okay?" Hoseok suggested with a gentle gaze.
"That's a tall order."
"I know, but you can do it. I believe in you."
"Thanks, Hobi."
Hoseok was the kind of friend anyone would want; always supportive, encouraging you when your self-confidence was low or if you needed a mood booster. He had helped you a multitude of times when you needed him and you'd always be grateful for it.

Later that day, you headed to the Great Hall for dinner, Hoseok by you side along with Taehyung. The three of you could practically smell the food that was no doubt waiting for you already.

"I'm starving." Taehyung complained aloud.
"Me too. Spells class felt like an eternity." You groaned. "My arm is aching from practicing all those stupid spells."
"Those stupid spells will help you one day." Hoseok mentioned.
You waved a dismissive hand. "Until I can get the hang of them, I'm gonna keep calling them stupid spells."
Taehyung chuckled in response, raising his index finger in agreement. "I'm with you on that."
"So, Y/n, have you figured out how you're gonna confess to Jin?" Hoseok inquired, changing the subject and shifting the focus to you.
"Y/n is confessing to Jin?" Taehyung's brows lifted.
"What?" Your voice raised an octave. "I-I didn't say that!"
"I know." The bubbly Hufflepuff giggled. "But you should."
"No, I shouldn't. Jin and I barely talk. Besides, we already established earlier that I'm unable to hold a proper conversation with him. My brain freezes up."
"You guys would be so cute together though." Taehyung added, not helping the situation in the slightest.
His words only made you imagine yourself and the handsome Hufflepuff together holding hands and doing couple things.
"Would we?" You asked quietly, playing with your hair absentmindedly.
"Aw. She's smitten as a kitten!" Hoseok piped up, nudging your side.
"I'm not." You denied.
"Seems like you are." Taehyung snickered.
They were both right, but instead of denying it, you just shook your head, passing through the large arched entrance to the dining hall.
As expected, a feast was spread out across your designated table, awaiting your arrival. You lowered yourself into an empty seat, your two friends following.
