What Is Unsung Stars?

Hey everyone!

If you're a writer like me then you've definitely struggled with getting the word out there about your books. I've tried for years and recently, I've been giving wattpad advice on my YouTube channel about how to get more, reads, votes, and comments on your stories (among other sound writing advice). I've also always entered a lot of contests and book promotions here on wattpad, but never created much to help writers books get out there (until this book, anyway).

The only ones I have done before are:

1) I host Authors Games, which are writing competitions meant to hone your skills as a writer. Its structured like the Hunger Games, where a group of writers come together and receive prompts that they have to write from a character they create, and the lower scorers are voted off until there is a single writer left standing. It's super fun, a great way to make friends, and as I mentioned, will hone your skills as a writer. Even if you're a beginner, you'll come out of these like a pro!

2) Character Interviews. This is a chance for you to develop your characters' voices and how they interact with others. Basically, I will ask your character(s) personal questions, then you write out their answers as if they're in an interview room with someone interviewing them. I will post your written interview in the book, tag you, put a link to your story at the bottom along with information to help promote your books and you as a writer.

So anyway, besides those, I don't have a good way of promoting writers or their books on wattpad. Until today...

Unsung Stars is a place where you can submit your book. If accepted, you can write whatever advertisement for your story you want, and I'll review your synopsis, leave the review, along with your books' synopsis, the advertisement you wrote, a link, a picture to the cover (and any other posters/pictures you have created for it), on a special chapter that will be dedicated to you and you'll be tagged in.

This book will also have small little contests for other promotion opportunities, and chances for me to review your prologue or first chapter, and include my review with your book. If this happens, don't worry; I'll send you the review first and post it with your permission.

If you're an artist or someone who makes trailers feel free to ask for promotion as well. If you do, then I will also make you a chapter with information about what work you offer, what the payments are, and samples of your work, with the chapter dedicated to you, and tag you in it, to promote yourself and your work to other people who might be looking for it.

If you're accepted, you'll also receive a sticker I made for you to use to put on your book cover (which helps with drawing attention).
