The Interview

"Hey girl! It's been like a month! How you been?" Mina says sitting in front of me

"Hectic, so much more work to do now that I have a proper career" I replied

"Oof, girl you better hit me up when you find fans that are hot men, I haven't dated anyone since Mike" she rolled her eyes. Mike was her boyfriend that actually lasted longer than any of her relationships, turns out he was cheating on her

"You know, you shouldn't trust men to be the source of your happiness. They'll just leave you sad anyways" I sipped on the tea that I ordered

"Spill that damn tea, did you and Chan break up?" she pushed the tea away from me, causing it to spill

"You know you'll have to clean that up right?" I said pointing towards the tea that just got spilled

"Yeah, I'll do it later. Now stop changing the topic!" she said throwing some tissue on top of the spilled tea

"Yes, I hate that jerk! That cheating Australian jerk!" I leaned towards the table, my forehead touching it's surface before starting to cry

"It's okay, it's okay. You can just find other men!" she 'optimistically' said

"To be honest, did you really even love him?" she questioned, I went silent

"Did you really love him more than you loved that BTS guy?" she asked again. I was still silent, I couldn't say a word

"Just think about it. You used him as a rebound, to get over.. Yoongi, was it? I don't know. You used Chan as a rebound, right?" she said making me think to myself

She isn't wrong..

But..

I loved him..

Right..?

I wouldn't be crying my eyes out if I didn't right?

But what if he didn't..?

He was still with that girl..

"OI! Earth to Y/N??? Ello??" Mina waved her hand at my face

"Oh, sorry" I apologized

"Aish.. Since you spilled tea, so will I, so you better get to sipping all this tea up girl!" she said

After a long talk with Mina, I went back to Mnet

Lee comes rushing to me, furious

I got confused cause I know I wasn't late at all

"Where were you??" he said as I approached him

"I went to a cafe near the park" I said, confused at why I was getting scolded

"Why'd you leave?" he took a sigh of relief before speaking

"Because it was my break?" I got more confused

"It is your break, that means you eat and get ready for the next interview in this location! Not out of it! We only have a few minutes for you to get your make-up fixed and the topics that you need to discuss" he said giving me a paper that was stapled with a lot more of papers
