First day at school on her junior year at high school. She stood for a bit on the outside, looking at the doors. She knew very well what to expect inside them, and many people would argue it was very great: cheerleading, partying with friends, being an straight A student and the class president, the jealous of girls and desire of boys.

Yet she wasn't exactly excited to any of this.

She took the left steps untill the doors and pushed it open, head up, shoulders in line, looking straight ahead as she had learned to do. The eyes stood on her, whispers going louder in the hallway. The mass of students opened up in front of her as they were water and she was a boat. Just letting her pass. She never needed to ask for space to walk.

"If is not the princess of the school!" Finn shouted, appearing suddenly by her side, his arm around her shoulders. "Ya know your hair is rocking everybody's world, right?"

"Why thank you" she said, laughing softly for him and shoving her hair behind her shoulder as some supermodel. She had dyed it pink during the holidays, an desperate try to give herself some personality, something more than the usual image of "blonde and perfect prom queen" she usually had. Not that any of her friends knew that. To them, she did stuff simply because she could to. "Thanks God coach McBecth don't think this affect the Cheerios image and I can keep it during the championship."

"As anyone on this school ever had the guts to tell you what you could or could'nt do, Bonnie", Finn said, rolling his eyes.

"I can't do anything, Finn" she scoffed, looking sarcastically at him "The coach is not going to keep me in the team if I don't look perfect."

"You not looking perfect it's impossible, that's inherent to you" was his answer, with an smirk.

She didn't had much time to blush as Lucy showed up in front of Bonnibel locker, where their group used to meet, all smiley and enthusiastic.

"Welcome to our junior ye-a-ar" she sang, much too happy to someone who was getting throw back into the tiring and torturous schoolish routine.

"Summer holidays are over, stop being a weirdo" Finn said, rolling his eyes but smiling anyway.

"She's not a weirdo" Jake spoke, getting on Lucy side and wrapping his arm over her shoulders. "Bonnie is a weirdo. She skips our parties to make science stuff. And yet she's one of the cool kids."

"Leave Bon alone, dude" Finn said, getting a little bit defensive "And she's the coolest kid".

Bonnibel just showed her tongue to Jake.

"Please gimme more holidays to sleep" said Hayley. She showed up and stood on Finn's side, dramatically laying her forehead on his shoulder and pretending to fall asleep there.

"Poor girl hates school" Finn said, patting her head.

"Your hair looks so amazing today, girl!" Lucy said, running her hand thru it and letting her chin drop to the floor.

"I know, right??" Hayley said, taking her head up, a lot more enthusiastically than before.

"You're the prettiest redhead in the whole school" Bonnibel said, one bit of Hayley's hair between her fingers. It was so hydrated and shining that Bonnie had the impression it was literally caching fire.

"Why thank you!" she said theatrically, two hands over her heart, tilting her head a bit, making them laugh. "You're the prettiest pinkhead as well"

"Well, I'm the only pinkhead so that better be true" she said, causing more laughs.

So the bell rang, and they started to get to their classes. Something was telling Bonnie this would be a long year.
