"Whatever, man. (Incoherent nonsense) Your stoned." Brick, one of Christopher's many friends said over the riff part of walk this way.
Out of nowhere, a figure came up. Normally, a sober person, which Brick was not, would try and swerve the other way. However, Brick didn't.
Instead, he ran the figure over.
The next day, the police visited Brick house.
"I did it. But he was a colored." Chris said, covering up for his friend. Who would
still be sent to jail for God knows how long, no matter the skin color.
Christopher was not sent to jail but, Kimberly's father forever hated him.
Maybe, just maybe, Christopher should tell the truth.
