(A/n: Credit to the original artist, and by this time I am not even going to worry if the song goes with the chapter. Sorry for it taking a while i have been sick for a few days, but I'm getting better! Enjoy!)

The tired princess has no idea why she collapsed so easily, but when she was awaken the next morning by the maids, she felt refreshed as ever. Especially when she finished cleaning up.

The maids exited themselves, but not without the princess saying her thank you's. Today they had dressed her in a light blue gown, it wasn't extravagant but it had a simple and appeasing flare too it. The clothing hugged her top to her hips, then it loosened up to fall gracefully down her sides.

(Y/n) looked at herself in the bathroom mirror, examining the dress herself. Small white flats covered her feet while her shoulders were exposed. A draft made a shiver scurry up her spine. (Y/n) rubbed her shoulders and then hugged her stomach.

No matter how pretty she looked, no matter how tight the corset was on her torso, she would never look good enough. These thoughts started to infest her mind slowly, so she hugged herself tighter, now having the ability to feel the strings on the back of the corset.

"Stop talking to yourself like that,(y/n)!" The princess whisper yelled to herself. "You are naturally beautiful they way you are, no one could ever match up to your unique beauty!" Those words seemed to come out as a lie, though every word she said was the truth. She couldn't believe it though.

A knock on the chamber's doors pulled (y/n) from her own mental torture. "Yes?" She trotted to the doors and peaked outside, a strand of her braided (h/c) hair falling in front of her face.

Outside the doors was her mother, the queen. Oh, how beautiful could someone possibly get? "Oh," (y/n) opened the door all the way, allowing the queen the view of the room and her beloved daughter. "I'm sorry."

"Sorry, why are you sorry?"

"Oh, I-I'm not sure."

"Don't be sorry about anything, anyhow, would you like to join me for breakfast?" The queen's platinum hair and green eyes shimmered brightly against the firelight from the candles on the walls. "Danzell is already in the dinning room waiting for you." Her voice came out bitterly with the last words.

"What is wrong with Danzell, he seems to be a kind king?" (Y/n) stepped out and followed the queen down the halls.

"Hmph, he is not kind at all. He is very bitter himself, he likes to get things done the way he wants it to be. Danzell doesn't care about others and the effect it has on them." She paused her sentence for a moment. "He is just trying to get your trust."

"I don't see why he would want my trust." As they walked down the halls the portraits started to flare down at the princess. Even by looking away from the nonexistent prying eyes she couldn't help but feel them judge her.

"If he gains your trust he can gains your heart through tricks." The woman kept her pace and looked at her daughter, still seeing the confused face she continued to explain. "If he marries you he will, without a doubt, try to kill me and take the throne. Though since you will be alive the throne will go to you. I'm not exactly sure what he might do after that, either he will let you have the throne and make the decisions or he will find a way to kill you without anyone knowing."

(Y/n)'s face paled from the news, Danzell didn't seem like he would do that at all. The mighty king looked as if he would only kill to protect, not for power or whatever he wanted from the queen. "Are-are you sure he-he would do something like that?" (Y/n)'s voice became shaky.
