(A/n: longest chapter so far! And rightfully so as this is the ending of the first arc, yay! Imagine the picture but with brown hair and red eyes please! Anyhow, ENJOY!)

Marcus kindly kept his arm intertwined with the princess, his back slightly hunching over from years without nice posture. White hair draped over his face like curtains, he would move it out of the way, but it would just fall over his face once more.

Slightly agitated, he huffed the thin hair and watched it sway with the piercing blue eyes. "Danny should have met with the queen, a sweet young man he is. Talented as well."

"Danny? I only caught a glimpse of him, is he your grandson by any chance?"

Marcus gave a light heart laugh, leading them to the main part of the library where the queen and the blue haired child stood, looking for something. "You have a good eye."

"There you are! Where did you go-oh hello Marcus." The queen smiled at the older man.

"Yes your majesty, forgive me for not meeting up with you in the first place. Though meeting your daughter is surely the highlight of my day." Marcus turned his head to see the princess smiling a sunny grin, the golden light pouring in from the open roof just to highlight her (h/c) hair.

"I'm glad you found her, she simply walked off."

(Y/n) smiled sheepishly at her mother's words. "Yes, well, I'm sorry about that mother. I just couldn't resist looking around."

The queen smiled and walked over to the princess. "It is fine, I think it is good you love books. Speaking of which, Marcus would you and Danny like to show us around?"

Danny spoke up this time with the most joyous attitude, almost more than (y/n). "I want to show you guys around!"

"Hold on, I'll come with." Marcus took Danny's arm and looked down at the boy with a 'please calm down' glare. After he saw Danny calm down he let go, allowing the child to take a step on the air.

(Y/n)'s eyes laced with astonishment as the boy pranced like a deer closer and closer to the railing of the second story. Danny laughed at the female's expression. "Have you ever seen magic before?" The female shook her head no earning a questioning look from the young child. "Really?"

"If you would both follow me I will give you a tour from top to bottom." Marcus took hold of the royal's attention. The queen followed him, his and the queen's steps also rising into the air. "Your highness, all you have to do is take a normal step into the air. The magic will allow you to step up like stairs."

"Um, alrighty then." (Y/n) held her dress up and took a step above, letting it rest above the floor. After a second that felt like an hour she let the pressure onto her foot. The female's eyes glowed in star like light. She could barely believe what she was seeing and feeling. This defies the laws of physics, and she knows because she once had a book all about physics and other sciences.

She took her time due to her fear of possibly falling. "Dear, you know the magic is in effect. You don't have to worry about falling."

"Oh-oh alright, coming!" (Y/n) took another half-cautious step before quickening up her pace. Now she was in front of the railing. The railing had a gate in which was left open for her. Once she passed Danny closed the railing gate and pranced ahead of the small group before helping his grandfather start the tour.

Books, so many books were scattered over the bed sheets. They dotted every inch with their thin pages and thick, hard covers. (Y/n) smiled to herself at the fact that she was allowed to get so many books from the library.
