He sat, tapping on the desk nervously. He tried to sort things out in his mind, but it was almost impossible to do.

Tap.

Glory kissed someone; she's in trouble.

Tap.

Nobody knows who he is.

Tap.

I wonder what Tsunami's doing. I thought we were supposed to make a movie together this time of the year.

Tap.

Okay. Who is that?

Tap.

Can I use Google Maps to find out?

Tap.

Nah.

He breathed in, breathed out. Think about Tsunami. Her and her smile.

Think about Tsunami. Yes. Tsunami.

Then he heard a known on his door. "Come in."

Glory came in, her hair freshly blonde. "I want to swear, but that is bad for reputation."

" You got in trouble, yeah? " He heard himself say.

"Shut up," she hissed. " And I hate it when people talk like that. There is no use for yeah. "

"What happened?" He stopped his tapping and focused his eyes on the engagement ring that was still on his hand.

"What about you?" She asked. " getting married? Because if you are, 'Nami's gonna kill you. "

He chuckled. "I know." He slipped it off and threw it out of the window. When Glory raised an eyebrow he shook his head. "It was mine to keep. Fake."

She shrugged. "I had fun. I got caught. I died couple times coming back."

He grinned. "Like all of us. Even Glory Bright isn't perfect, I guess."

She glared at him, sighing. "Now Kyle refused to put the movie together. I'm a brat now."

He shrugged. "Aren't we all."

She rolled her eyes. "I gave Tsunami the script."

He grinned. "I heard she's coming to the ball today."

"You pathetic lovebirds."

" Yeah? Says the woman that kissed a random stranger. Hmm? "

"No it's not! He's...not a random stranger!" He could tell she was confused, but she kept her voice steady. "I....he's my bodyguard."

He shrugged. "Glory, we've known each other for years." He walked towards her and gripped her hands in his. " We need to close this up. Now. I want to be open, and I can tell that you do too. "

She looked startled. "What?"

He leaned closer. "Glory..."

" I-" She stammered. "Tsunami likes you-"

"It doesn't matter now," he breathed.

He leaned close until their lips were almost brushing. He put his arm around her waist, and-

Then she slapped him on the face.

He bursted out laughing. She jerked back, confused.

"You thought I was going to kiss you!"

She blushed, and it didn't disappear quickly enough. "You weren't?"

He smirked. "That's why I have an Oscar, sweetheart."

She rolled her eyes. "Shut up, Blue."

He winked. " don't worry. I'm saving my beautiful lips for someone else tonight. "

She laughed. "Tsunami would be thrilled."

He grinned. "But that proves you love someone. You've kissed me plenty of times."

" When we were thirteen and we didn't even know Tsunami. That was a teen movie."

"Well, I can tell, and I've been your friend for fifteen years."

Glory shrugged. "Well."

"Who's this random guy? "

"He's not random!"

"Oh yeah?" He taunted. " What's his name? "

She sighed and crossed her arms across her chest. "Deathbringer."

He laughed. Glory, clearly irritated, stayed silent.

"What the crap?" He said. " you're bringing death to yourself, man! "

"Language!" She snapped.

He shrugged. "Practicing man talk for Turtle."

" Yes, " She replied sarcastically. "Getting to know your brother-in-law, aren't you?"

" Hey, I'm sorry my relationship is running smoothly and yours aren't. I'm not Mother Earth. "

Glory hissed. He smiled.

"So?" He said. " is he a hottie? Fat? Nerdy? What? "

"Hot," she said without hesitating. Then she blushed.

" Ooooh, " he said.

She raised an eyebrow. "Are you gay?"

" Shut up. No, Bright, of course not! "

She smiled. "Just checking."

He shrugged. "There's nothing wrong with it."

" I don't care. "

"Does the Director know?"

"Uh-huh."

" Crappy day, huh? "

"Definitely crappy."

"Want some coffee."

" Please. "

"Okay. Go get some. I want American."

"I. Hate. You."

He grinned, running his hand through his hair.

"Uh-huh. And you love me, sweetheart , I can tell..."
