"Are you certain of that. Tread lightly if you're discovered the whole operation will be blown." The speaker's voice was gravelly yet soft, they stayed in the shadows, keeping their form disguised from the viewer.
"I have to return now. They'll notice my absence if I'm not back soon." The other figure said, hand clenching a small object tightly in a closed fist.
"Very well. We'll speak again soon."
There was a whisper and the object lit up, activated once more. The figure holding it popped out of the darkroom and reappeared in another better lit one, miles away.
