Getting A Lead

-Aria’s (POV)-

-Rosewood High School-

Hanna, Emily, and I are sitting at a table in the cafeteria Spencer walks up to us she sets a stack of paper down. Hanna grabs the stack and looks at it.

Hanna: Wow this is a lot of paper Spence.

Spencer looks at Hanna and grabs the paper from her.

Spencer: Well I had a feeling that Dani was lying about how my mom and her mom knew each other so I did some research.

Hanna: So that’s what you were doing last night when I called you?

Spencer: Yeah I was at the library.

Aria: Anyways what did you find out?

Spencer: I found out that her mom and my mom went to school together after seven months Dani’s mom stopped showing up for unknown reasons.

Emily: How did you find that out?

Spencer pulls out an ID we all look at it.

Aria: Oh my God Spencer you took Dani’s ID?

Spencer: Yes I did I needed it.

Emily grabs Dani’s ID and sticks it in her pocket Spencer looks at her.

Emily: You can’t just go around stealing people’s things Spence.

Emily gets up and leaves.

Spencer: What’s up with her?

Hanna: Maybe she has a crush on Dani.

Aria: I don’t think so Han plus Dani is dating Santana I think.

Spencer: Oh you thought right they are dating I saw them kissing.

Aria: Oh my God now you are spying on them?

Spencer: What? No I saw them in front of the barn.

Hanna: Anyways why do you think Dani lied to us?

Spencer: Maybe she doesn’t trust us.

Aria: Or maybe something else happened.

Spencer and Hanna look at me Spencer motions for me to continue.

Aria: I mean she was going to tell us but then her phone went off and she looked at it then she made up that story.

Hanna: I’m not quite sure what you are getting at.

Spencer: What Aria is trying to say is that she might have gotten a message from “A.”

Hanna: Why would she get a message from “A?” I mean I thought that “A” was only after us.

Spencer: Maybe whoever “A” is knows something.

Hanna shrugs her shoulders as Spencer continues to go through her “research”  I pick at my food as I think.

Dani is throwing all her stuff around she is looking for her ID I’m sitting on the bed. She sighs and sits on the bed.
