Two years after...
Lily suddenly appeared behind Mo Hyun which made the latter jump from her seat and hide her phone.
"Chingu! You're late!"
"Mianhae Mo Hyun-a, Eun Min-a! I had to drop by the office for some important papers", she sat beside Mo Hyun across Eun Min. "What was that Mo Hyun?"
"What?", acting as if she didn't know what Lily is talking about.
"What were you looking at in your phone? Let me see!!!", she grabbed Mo Hyun's phone.
"Ya!! It's noth-"
Lily looked at Mo Hyun's phone and she regret doing it. Eun Min peeked at it too and saw that their friend is reading a news about BTS members finishing their military service in three days.
"I told you it's nothing", Mo Hyun said as she took her phone back. There was silence between the three of them.
"Yah! You're 30 minutes late. You owe us a dinner!" Eun Min finally broke the ice.
"Dasi? (Again?)" The three of them laughed. "Arasso! (Ok!)"
A group of college students went in the coffee shop, talking loud enough for them to hear.
"Seokjin oppa-rang Suga oppa are already out of military service six months ago!" One giggly haksaeng said.
"Yes! And in three days. Hobi oppa and Namjoon oppa will be coming out too", another student excitedly said.
"Wow these students are so loud", Mo Hyun told the two.
"Are you okay Lily?" Eun Min asked.
Lily forced a smile, "Of course! It was all in the past", she told them. "He belongs in my past", she told herself.

Ring.... ring.... ring.....
It's 11 PM and Lily's phone rang while she was brushing her teeth. She checked on it and to her surprise, she jolted and immediately put it back on her desk. It stopped ringing after a few seconds. She can't believe what she saw and had to double check who the caller is.
Lily doesn't know what to do but she just have to know why. She sent a text message.
11:15 PM 리리: Hi.
11:16 PM 준아: Hey! 괜찮아요? (How are you?)
11:20 PM 리리: I'm fine. How are you?
11:22 PM준아: Mianhae. Jeongmal mianhae. (I'm sorry. I'm really sorry)
11:25 PM 리리: Why are you saying sorry?
11:28 PM 준아: Because we didn't tell you what happened.
11:30 PM 리리: It was in the past. Besides, it's not you who should be sorry.
11:32 PM 준아: Anyway, can I see you?
11:35 PM 리리: Sure. But are you allowed to go around? I mean, isn't it gonna be busy for you?
11:40 PM 준아: We just got out of the service so we don't have definite work schedules yet.
11:42 PM 리리: Okay then.
11:46 PM 준아: Joh-a! Naeil bwa~ jeonhwa halke.. (Good! See you tomorrow. I'll call you.)

Lily can't believe Namjoon reached out to her as soon as he got out of the military service. He is her best friend among the BTS members. However, although scared, a part of her wants to see her ex-fiancé.

Namjoon called her at 8 AM to ask if she will be available for lunch. She agreed to meet him at a nearby restaurant that caters celebrities and high profile personalities.
When she arrived, a hostess escorted her to one of the rooms reserved for them. When the doors opened, she saw Namjoon and the gentleman immediately stood up and greeted her. The hostess left them as soon as she entered the room.
"Joon-a!"
"Lily noona!!", he hugged her impulsively. "I missed you."
Lily rubbed her friend's back, "I missed you too".
"Ooops I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-.." he apologized for acting that way, "I just missed you".
"That's okay", she blushed.
They spent a few hours catching up. He shared the things that happened in the military, good and bad memories. She also told him what happened to her when she went back to her hometown.
"Uhm, Lily..."
"Ne?"
"Did Hobi try to contact you yet?", he knew he shouldn't dig up the past and rub the wound but his instinct tells him otherwise.
"Ajik (not yet)." She sipped her coffee.
"Are you going to meet him if ever he would want to talk to you?"
"Nan molla."
There was a brief silence before Namjoon spoke again.
"Mianhae. I shouldn't have asked."
"Ya! I already told you, you didn't do anything wrong. Stop saying sorry. And I know you're gonna ask about it. We are your friends, of course you would be concerned about us. Gomawo Joon-a."
He gave her that famous closed-lips smile of him that shows his killer dimples.
"I'll drop you off to your office."
"Andwae (no need). I brought my car so you don't have to."
"Wow, you drive now?"
"Ne", she winked at him.
"Woah, nae chingu jeongmal daebak-ida! (Wow, my friend is really amazing!)"
She chuckled. Meeting Joon again made her happy.
