3년 끝나고 - After Three Years...
Lily is looking at the books in the Starfield Library in Gangnam when she saw a crowd getting excited over something. Out of curiosity, she tried to look and saw someone she's been longing to see. Her face lit up and a huge smile came out.
"Joon-a!! Joon-a!!" She tried to call him.
Hearing a familiar voice, Namjoon looked around and saw Lily. He waved back at her and a lot of girls looked towards her direction.
Just a few moments after, Namjoon went to her.
"Oraenman! (Long time no see!)", she greeted him.
"Yeah! How are you?"
"I'm good. It's been years.... how have you been?"
"I'm producing music now, here and there. You?"
"Well I still work at the same company but in a higher position, so I'll have to treat you to lunch", she insisted and Namjoon didn't object.
She tried to peak at his ring finger and he isn't wearing anything on it.
"So.. are you married?"
"After you left me? No. Still haven't found someone", he joked.
"Hey I'm sorry."
Namjoon smiled and his to-die-for dimples showed. "Did you--" he didn't finish his sentence when he heard a little voice.
"Eomma! Eomma!"
Lily turned to the little boy and flashed a smile, "Ireowa (come here)".
The little boy took little steps towards his mom which left Namjoon thinking. Lily took the kid to her arms and kissed him.
"Eomma?" Namjoon wanted to ask if he heard it right.
"Eung. Nae adeul. (Yeah. My son.)"
"You got married?"
She didn't answer him. She played with his son and spoke in a little voice.. "Mannaseo bankabsumnida, Joonie samcheon. Jeoneun Haneul-imnida. (Nice to meet you Uncle Joon. I'm Haneul.)"
"Annyeong Haneul.. such a beautiful name."
"Thank you."
"Did you name him or his dad?" Namjoon's trying to get Lily talk about her life.
"I did. He doesn't know him."
"His dad? He doesn't know about Haneul? Why?"
Lily stopped answering. She got up and took her bag instead. "Let's go? I'm hungry."
They talked about a lot of things over lunch. She told him she has been meeting Yoongi and Jimin whenever they're in USA and that they know about Haneul.
"They never told me about it."
"I asked them not to tell anyone and I'm glad they kept their promise. They both helped me a lot when I was pregnant and Jimin was there for me in the hospital when I gave birth."
"Wow! That's why he was really busy there."
"They love Haneul so much like their own son. But I'm very happy that they finally got approved to adopt a child."
"Really?" Namjoon got excited to hear a lot of new things about his 'brothers'.
"You didn't know? Where were you hiding all these years?" She laughed.
"I don't know! I must have really been too busy to catch up with them. Now I feel so guilty."
"Yeah you should", she playfully said.

They continued seeing each other and talked about not choosing between him and Hoseok. She went back to the Philippines that day and continued working in New York afterwards. She contacted Jimin and Yoongi and that's how they kept in touch after leaving Korea.
Lily told him that she's been assigned back in Seoul 6 months ago. While having a nice chat, she suddenly felt an unbearable pain in her stomach and had to rush to the comfort room. She left Haneul with Namjoon.
A few moments later, she came back and took a prescription medicine bottle from her purse. He wanted to bring her to the hospital but she insisted that it's just gas.

Namjoon seemed to have fallen all over again not just for Lily but also for her little one, Haneul. He's such a sweet little boy who loves cuddles and playing with Uncle Joon. Every weekend, he brings them to the park.
The sun was shining too bright. Namjoon is trying to walk Haneul near the lake while Lily watches. Suddenly, she felt an extreme pain in her stomach and vomited with blood.
He rushed her to the hospital and it took several hours before the doctor went to see him.
"Doctor, how is she?"
"How long has she been feeling sick? Does she pass out often?"
"I'm not sure but it wasn't the first time I saw her in extreme pain. I saw her took some pills but she said it was just gas."
The doctor pulled out a sheet of xray film and showed it to him, "We made some tests on her and this is what we saw."
The doctor explained and tears ran down his eyes.

"Hey!" She greeted when she saw him come in the room.
"You're awake!" He walked fast towards her.
"Yeah. What am I doing here? I told you it's nothing." She smiled.
Namjoon sat beside the bed and took her hand.
"Don't be stubborn. You said it was nothing you didn't tell me it's-".. he didn't finish.
"So you knew. The doctore shouldn't have told you. Besides, it won't matter if I tell you. You'll just worry and I don't want to be a burden to you."
"Don't say that. You've never been a burden to me. You know from the start how much I care for you."
She wiped Joon's tears, "Thank you. I owe you a lot."
He touched her hand on his face and found comfort in each other. It took her days before she got discharged. She's starting to feel weak but Lily doesn't want to show it. She told him not to let the other guys know about her condition.
Months passed and they even got closer. They spent a lot of time together. She met with Jungkook and Taehyung once. Jin is in Japan with Miyaka while Yoongi and Jimin are in the USA processing the papers for adoption. She obviously wanted to know Hoseok's whatabouts but she didn't ask Joon. The news said his businesses are doing well but there's a rumor that he is already divorced.
Slowly, her skin got pale and eyes are weary. She works at home and sees her doctor every other week.
