You say we don't matter
But we know we do
You say we don't matter
But what makes you
Your white skin
Your cool clothes
That's nothing
Bro what are those
Material thing's
don't show who you are
The color of our skin is more like armor
The inside is great
The inside is me
Would you kill me if i walked down the street
Would you kill your parent's for looking like me
Sure they're not
You say it's different
But you're just making excuses
For you not to see you're just plain mean
You may think we're different
well news flash everyone is
but the color of skin is nothing
when i see the new's it make's me cry
to know that i was born during this time
but now that we are here we're going to make a change
we will live another day
now no one can stop us from getting our way
because we are here and we're going to stay
