Chapter 5

Yeon Ah's POV

I'm in my room changing now.

The nurse said I can leave so...I'm leaving.

I packed my stuffs and went to the hallway where the elevators were.

I'm going to see my parents another time before going back home.

I went to their room and stared at them during a loooong 10 minutes.

I smiled sadly to myself.

"They had passed the critical state so they have a chance to wake up. Even though it may take some time, I'm sure they'll make it, miss. Don't worry too much." The doctor told me earlier, after their surgery.

Yep. They'll make it, Yeonnie. Be positive and carry on.

After some time, I decided to make my way home.

I walked on the street, feeling the fresh air hitting my face. Waah.. the fresh air.

I felt so carefree at the moment.

But actually, I'm burdened by so many problems.. school, family, friends..

Aishh.. school.

I already missed today's classes so I need to go tomorrow. Wished I can have another day off.

I continued walking until I saw a convenience store.

I need to buy some stuffs to put in my junk food box.

I went in and picked loooots of food.

Chips, candies, sodas, cup noodles, and more.

I was going to pay but a phone call stopped me.

I looked at the number.. it was an unknown number. I wonder who it was.

"Yeoboseyo?" I picked up the phone.

"Yah, Yeon Ah, it's Jimin. I was wondering if you.."

"Wait. Jimin? How come you have my phone number??" I cut him.

"Namjoon hyung gave it to me. K, so I was asking you if I needed to go pick you up at the hospital."

"Aishh.. I'm really not used to you being nice to me. But I'm already outside the hospital. I'm at the convenience store near the park. If you wanna help me, you can help me carry my stuffs."

"Okaay, coming. Wait for me, I'll be there in 15 minutes."

"Kay, bye."

And we hung up.

Wow that guy is really changing..

He's being so nice.. I'm really not used to it.

But maybe I should try to understand him and be nice to him.

Hmm.. we'll see.

I walked to a bench in the park and checked my phone.

Hmm.. so boring.

Oh I'm gonna add Jimin to my contacts.

I added him and went on Tumblr. I don't always go on Tumblr, but when I do, I make sure it's when I'm bored.

Hmm.. nothing special on Tumblr..

I was bored sitting, so I walked in the park. But suddenly, some children were running in my direction and, due to my bad reflexes, I got hit and my phone dropped on the floor.

I was bending down to pick up my phone but somebody picked it up for me.

I looked up and saw Jimin smiling at me, handing the phone back.
