Chapter 12 Face to Face with the Past

Today was now September 19 and Harry would be here the next day and 2 todays until they would face each other for the first time in months but Louis was ready he continued to see Ed and continued to work on himself and in these almost 5 months he feels better than ever, Lia has been doing soo good and 1 week ago Louis started to take Darren and Darcy they really don't need it but if he decides to let Harry back into the kids lives into his life he wants to make sure the kids are prepared and it is not to traumatic for them. Louis continues with their schedules and Zayn and Perrie will take the kids out all day so Louis can talk to Harry and the kids won't question where Louis is going since he hasn't told them that he was going to meet Harry, depending on how their conversation goes will determine if Louis will tell the kids, he is brought out of his thoughts when his classroom door opens and Zayn walks in

"Hey, how you doing, want to go get some lunch"

"yeah lets go just let me get my wallet and keys"

as they walk to Zayns car they decide were they want to eat since they both have 2 free periods they go to the nearest diner, they take their seats look over the menu and order their food and drinks

"Lou, I have something to tell you" Zayn begins "you know how Niall and I have been hanging out when he comes to town to see his family"

"yeah" Louis answers

before Zayn and say anything the waitress comes back with their food and they start eating

"Well" Zayn begins" Louis, I talked to Niall and told him that I want to talk to Harry before he talks to you, I am not going to say anything about what you have told me or what you want to talk to him about but I just wanted to get something off my chest, I mean if you and him are going to try and co-parent or maybe sometime in the future you decide you want to try again with him then I want to talk to him and try to be civil to him, Lou, I am telling you because I really don't want any secrets with you, you have always been very honest with me and I have been with you and he told Niall that he was ok with meeting with me tomorrow I am going to his hotel tomorrow after 6"

"Z, appreciate that and I hope you and him can one day be friends or as you say civil to each other at least for the kids"

"well I guess we better hurry before we are late for our last class of the day"

They made it to their class on time, when they finished their day Zayn went and picked up the kids from day care and Louis went to Ed office, when he was done he went back home to help with homework and made dinner Zayn stayed for dinner and left before the kids went to take their showers

The following day after Zayn was done with work he made his way to his house to shower and changed he send Louis a quick text that he was on his way to meet with Harry, Louis sent him a reply with "Good Luck" and to call him after since it was a Friday Louis knew he would be up late anyways

Zayn arrives Harry's hotel room and knocks and Harry answers the door Zayn notices that Harry is crying not really expecting him to see Harry like that

"What is wrong" Zayn asked not really sure if he should or not but the word escaped his mouth and well it was to late to take them back

"Z, after over a month waiting for Louis to text me he texted me right now saying Good luck with Zayn with an angel emoji, look" Harry says as he shows Zayn

"well are you going to answer its been almost 5 minutes"

Harry responds with a thank you and a smiley emoji " Z, please let me start and say somethings to you before you say anything before I loose my courage"
