Chapter 23 New Traditions

It a few days before christmas and Harry and Louis have finally settled into their new home the kids are loving the extra space and the pool and basket ball courts are an added bonus....... all the families are at their house setting up and getting everything ready for christmas eve also Louis birthday and as promised nick is over helping his new adopted family they are all setting up the house for all the tables needed

"Lou, harry can I talk to you for a bit please" Mike says "I know its busy here but can you guys keep Jessies kids overnight, I want to take her our to dinner, and well i want to ask her to marry me"

"Geez wait is she pregnant, cuz you know the engagement curse" Louis says teasing him

"No, well i don't think so" Mike says "maybe i should wait for a few more years, just in case"

"congratulations Mike, you deserve happiness" Harry says

"Don't worry the kids can spend the night, did you bring them clothes, but im pretty sure we have the their sizes here somewhere" Louis says

"well I packed them a bag when Jessie was a work so its in the car Ill go get it, thanks" Mike says as he walks to his car once he brings in the kids bag and he walks up to Jessie and ask if she wants to go out to dinner she agrees and they leave

"Jay, Dan" Harry says as he walks up to them

"yeah"

"um I want to ask your blessing again to marry Louis"

"um lets go somewhere and talk" Dan says and Harry gets nervous thinking that he had messed up so bad that they will be against it and as they walk Jay grabs Anne and Robin" Harry i know you love louis" Dan starts to say as Anne and Robbin looked confused not knowing what was going on

"Harry just asked Dan and I to ask Louis to marry him" Jay clarifies as she notices how Anne and Robin were confused

"um Harry honey don't you think its a little to soon" Anne asks

"well its been a little over a year and a half but mom this is what I want, I know i love him and we have been working really hard on us, I'm not saying i am going to do it right now but maybe by the summer its just something I have been thinking about for a long time, but with all these engagements and weddings and babies i want to make it special for him but I just wanted to get your blessing just incase i do it out of the blue and forget to ask"

"well harry we respect you for coming to ask us and Jay and I would be honored for you to marry Louis again, but Harry please don't hurt him again I haven't seen him this happy in a long time, that is all Jay and I ask is please don't hurt him again" Dan says

"Son you need to understand that we all know you both love each other and we all see that, but please don't hurt him, I dont think any of us would be able to handle him broken again and he has worked soo hard to get where he is today, and you have put so much work" Jay continues

"I promise I lost him once and almost lost him again, I wont ever loose him again just took me this long to realize what i actually have and I won't ever hurt him again and now my kids God what would I ever do with out them, I wont be that stupid again, I promise all of you"

"well son, then you have all of our blessings to marry Louis" Jay says as she looks at Anne and Robin

"Thank you guys you are all seriously the best" Harry says as he hugs both sets of parents

"lets get back outside before Louis notices we are all gone" Robin says

they all get up and walk back to the family room/kitchen where everyone is playing games, all the moms are in the dining room talking about what they are making for Christmas eve and day dinner
