"I need you like a fish needs a raincoat" Naois slurs

I  cover my mouth to stop from laughing too loud, but I couldn't help myself that had to be one of the worst pick-up lines I've heard. 

 "Naois go find someone else to annoy" Iris sighs walking away from the clearly drunk alpha. 

Tonight I decided not to go to sleep and instead join the pack on their weird bonfire tradition thing they do. 

 I was sitting on the log watching everyone quietly, I don't know any of them apart from Cameron, iris and now Chris who was too busy playing the snare drum, is this the only source of music they have? I still have my iPod maybe I should play them a tune or two...Nah. 

I spot Cameron and Andrés and the two twins standing in a circle far from everyone, they were whispering lowly. 

I wonder what they're talking about, I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear and listen in " is she seriously the luna? or is this some kind of cruel joke? please tell me it is a cruel joke alpha Andrés"

I glare at the alpha with the long dark hair, why would me being luna be a cruel joke? they're lucky I'm even letting them call me their luna! 

No girl dreams of becoming the luna of savage rogues. 

" She's not the luna, nightwalkers don't have a luna" that was André's voice 

" Nightwalkers will never have a luna."

'burn' my wolf laughs 

"this involves you too!" I whisper-yell 

'oh yeah,' 

I turn back to the group clenching my fist tight " Brother you know she's the only one that can break the curse" I look at Cameron, the alpha looked pissed. 

I smile knowing that he will have my back.  " I Don't think so," Andrés says not even looking at his brother 

Cameron presses his lips together, something he does when he is irritated I've noticed  " look, the curse won't break if you keep acting closed off- I can't say I know what you're feeling but you need to let her in! that is the only way the plan is going to work"

Oh no, he told him about the plan! 

"what plan?" Andrés barks

"Uhm, it-its nothing" Cameron stutters he looks at me with green eyes full of fear I didn't like seeing the picture in front of me I knew that something was wrong. 

Cameron gulps " don't worry about it,"

the two twin alpha look at each other before slowly walking away with a stiff rigid composure " Cameron, don't make me repeat myself... what plan?"

I freeze, is Cameron going to tell Andrés my plan to break the curse?  " uhh, iris and I told Amma about the curse" he says lowly

oh, thank goddess! 

"You did what?!" Andrés roars

for a few seconds, everything stops, Chris stops drumming even the crickets stop making sounds.

 I freeze as the alpha turns to me with gold glowing eyes " you did this" he snaps before he stalks to me

"Andrés don't!" Cameron yells 

I stand up quickly and in a second the alpha is in front of me, I didn't know what was going to happen but it has to be bad by the fear across everyone faces.
