I was running with Sonic to the park, it was 10 pm, we get here normally at 11:45, but we don't have time for that, we came earlier tonight because G.U.N had restricted entry to the park until they figured out what this fungus was

Why now of all things, I looked back at my brother, we were wearing our cloaks the golden symbol covered in dust and slowly rusting away

He was frowning, why did I have to burden him to this Immortal cures all those years ago?!

" Sonic don't worry we'll be in and out, we just need to sneak past the soldiers " I smiled softly

Sonic returned it and nodded, we went over the wall and glided to the trees and went tree to tree to our stop, it was 10:45 now, normally it would take us a few minutes

" you've eaten right " I asked my brother, who nodded in reply

" good " we reached the clearing were the fungus grows, people were all over the place, I growled silently

" what do we do, their all around the fungus " I heard Sonic whisper

" call in old favours " I smirked as I pulled out a small talisman with the symbol of a nega

I closed my eyes and focused on my old friend

Soon enough screens erupted like clockwork from the site, I grab Sonic's and and quickly run to the fungus and grabbed the amount necessary

I admit it dose taste horrible, I swallowed the piece I had and handed the other to Sonic who did the same and gagged at the end

I rush over to the nega along with sonic

" I was having a nice nap, before you called " I heard him his in annoyance

" well I was desperate, G.U.N found the fungus and we needed it tonight " I replied as we all ran for the tunnel he had made to get here

We entered and he sealed the entrance

" well your lucky I owed you a favour " he huffed

" thanks Mighty " Sonic smiled, Mighty was half nega and half armodilo, I saved him from being killed by a pack of were wolves, which Sonic was friends with

" yeah sure, your both going to have to stay the night " Mighty sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose as he slipped down the tunnel in front of us

Sonic actually enjoyed interacting with other supernatural beings, he was always curious about other habits and lifestyles they had

I laughed inwardly, Sonic had always been positive and innocent, and I'm glad that didn't change
