I sat here shocked, what these two said were true, I stared at Silver

" fine " the female, Martha nodded towards me and Amy

The boy came over and undid the bindings, I looked towards Silver again and saw sadness in his eyes

" why?" I asked the boy who pushed me, to the girl who had a gun aimed at Silver's head and towards the four who were on their knees

" because I failed to pay attention during a hunt, I was turned and I ran from my father afraid of what he'd do to me, for over 600 years I've been running with my brother " Silver answered

" our parents were hunters, one winter a few months after my brother had disappeared I got hyperthermia, I was on my deathbed when he turned me " Sonic said quietly, everyone was quiet

" I was born like this, my father was the alpha of my pack, but he was corrupted and killed my mother, so I did what had to be done " the jackal stated

" I was attacked by vampires, if Zero hadn't saved me and turned me I would of died from blood loss " Gadget whispered

" our family has always been hunters, and these two are the only ones who have gotten away, in the journal my father gave me before he died, it says to kill them at all costs " Martha growled at Silver and Sonic

" what she said and what do you mean corrupted?" He asked Zero

" mortals blood, it's one thing we all have in common, it corrupts us and makes us prey on mortals, me and my pack were getting desperate 12 winters ago, if it weren't for Silver and Maurice we would of preyed on mortals " Zero answered

I looked at Silver he was looking straight ahead at Martha, suddenly Sonic's ears went up and he turned to the forest behind Martha and the boy

He then looked into the sky, the sun was beginning to rise

" I thought we killed you a hundred years ago " Silver stated as he also looked behind Martha and the boy

" ahh well you know me, I'm the prince of vampires, plus you know what I can do " I figure stepped out of the tree line, he was a green hedgehog with sapphire eyes

Sonic shrank back in fear, everyone looked towards the two

" ya know, I'm still offering the two of you a place in my court, but you'll have to kill everyone here " he smirked showing lethally sharp fangs

" I'd rather die, Scourge " Sonic hissed, Silver growled at him in agreement

" well more for me " this Scourge lunged at Martha and the boy
