I looked at the green hedgehog smirking towards us, I could sense the fear on everyone

" Infinite, Gadget go get everyone out of here " Silver commanded, they nodded and stood up and went towards the others

Martha loaded her gun With silver bullets, she doesn't understand, as she took aim at Infinite and was about to fire I grabbed it off her and hit Scourge in the leg, he screamed in pain

" what are-" I cut Martha's raging off

" get out of here please, I can't watch you or Connor die, not like our cousin " I frowned at her, Scourge was our cousin, but not anymore he was corrupted

" you think running will save them? I already have their scent, I can track them down and pick them off one by one " Scourge laughed as he wiped the blood from where I shot him and dropped the bullet on the ground as he walked towards me

" back off " Silver hissed at him

" only if you tell me where the fungus is " Scourge snapped

" why? You'd only use it to hunt us day and night, for the rest of our lives " I said, Martha and Connor were confused as was everyone else

" well then, I'll just have to force you on my side " Scourge chuckled as he pulled out a small vial, my eyes widened as did Silver, I could smell what it was, it wasn't animals blood

Scourge chuckled and started to walk towards me, I back away, completely terrified

But as he was about three feet from me the vial shattered in his hand, Scourge growled and looked towards Connor, he had a slingshot in his hands

I took the opportunity to attack Scourge while he was distracted, and it wasn't anything pretty, it was like two feral animals fighting over a scrap of meat

I bit his arm and he clawed at my chest, I growled and so did he

" your pathetic, your own father thought so, your mother heart broken, and to think I actually felt pity for you and your brother when my dear cousins were turned " Scourge chuckled darkly

" you aren't him " Silver hissed as he stood next to me

" oh really? Because I remember you adored you brother, spoiled him, along with that sister of yours, her blood was as sweet as your mothers " Scourge laughed as I began to shake in horror

" you...killed them..." Silver said shakily

" too bad your niece got away, along with your father, though I heard he was killed by a witch the last time the two of you got away " Scourge continued, I snapped, Scourge yelled in shock

" you have no right to talk of them! You gave up your mortality for your own selfness " I hissed at him

" you were always the one with anger issues Maurice " Scourge chuckled

" and that's your downfall " my eyes widened when he pinned me to the ground with an invisible force

" I swear I will kill you, cousin or not " Silver growled

" ya know, it only takes one drop " time seemed to slow when he said that, there was mortal blood dripping from his hand as he stood up from where the vial broke

" go near him...and I will lock you in coffin and burry you in the ground for all of eternity " Silver growled as he stayed in place

" I'd like to see you tr-" Scourge froze in place and then began screaming in pain, I looked to the ground underneath him

A spell in the dirt, i smirked as I then began to stand without the invisible force

" I don't let anger take control anymore Scourge " I spat at him, he looked at me with wide eyes

" let's go before the sun rises, and we have to smell the stench of rotten blood " Silver said to me and everyone

I looked back at Scourge to see him growling

" I'm sorry...but you aren't the same as when we were kids " I said to him sadly, he looked at me with that feral look, but there seemed to be regret and understanding shining in his eyes

" Chaos control " Silver said and we all appeared in my house, everyone wide eyed and staring at us

I lowered my ear and looked away, I felt Silver standing in front of me

" you..." I heard Blaze start

" I was going to tell you, I was just afraid...Martha, Connor we know what happened to your parents, and I know you won't trust me or my brother, but please leave them all out of this, this is between you, me and my brother " Silver said quietly

" hey it's Martha who wanted to kill you both, I was completely unsure " Connor shrugged and Martha glared at him, he just ignored it

I felt something burning my back and I yelped in pain and went to hide in the shade of the room we landed in, which happened to be Shadow's shadow...

" you should of eaten the fungus like I said to " Silver scolded me

" well sorry, but you told me to run and hide " I huffed back, he rolled his eyes

" what about the witch?" Connor asked as Amy tried sneaking away, Silver was in front of her in a few seconds, she jumped

" harmless " Silver commented

" I'm not harmless " Amy growled and pulled out a hex bag, and went to throw it at my brother, but nothing happened

" w-what?!" Amy yelled in surprise

" your feet " I stared, with a slight yawn, I forgot without the fungus I sleep during the day...

Amy looked down and her eyes widened

" this is why I hate vampires " she hissed, I slowly fell asleep leaning against Shadow's legs
