{Jezzabelles pov}

"Oh my gosh! Edith you've done it once again!" Mrs.Diamond says finishing her food as everyone at the table looked at her as if it was normal for her to shout after finishing her dinner,

"The meatloaf is delicious and the steak is perfectly done well" Mrs.Diamond says winking at Edith as she smiles next to me,

"Is the new maid fitting in well in the kitchen with you guys?" Mrs.Diamond asks nodding at me as Edith nods,

"Well that's great, I'm glad to have more people that work well as the ones before" She says before clapping her hands,

"Okay now, what are we having for dessert? Is it your famous strawberry cheese cake?" Mrs.Diamond asks with a gasp as Edith nods,

"Yes!" Mrs.Diamond says to herself as her son sat next to her rolling his eyes,

"Well I'm going to go finish some paperwork before I go to sleep" Phoenix says about to get up before his mother grabs his arm,

"Already? You barely touched your food? Are you sick?" She asks worriedly before reaching over to touch his forehead as he flinched back,

"No, there's just a lot of papers on my desk I need to finish before sun rise so if you don't mind I'll be heading up to my office now" he says pulling away from her as she frowns,

"Fine but I won't let you sleep till you have your dessert, I'll have Jezzabelle send up your dessert later" She says as he turned to me and my eyes darted to the floor quickly feeling his eyes still on me,

"Fine but make sure she does it before midnight" He says before walking out of the room,

"Weirdo, anywho! Bring on the dessert" Mrs.Diamond says rolling her eyes before smiling when the doors opened to the large cake Edith and I made before we put out the plates and dining utensils on the table,

"How can I possibly forget about my eating partner?" Mrs.Diamond gasps as we looked at her confused,

"Kathy, come here and eat with me since my son doesn't want to eat with his mother" She says as I see my sister skip into the dining room in a white dress with her hair braided nicely as I pinched myself to see if my eyes weren't fooling me,

"Ma'am? Your letting one of the maids eat with us?" One of the vampires at the table asks confusedly before Mrs.Diamond hissed loudly,

"She's not a maid! Not on my watch. She's to young to be a maid so I've decided to keep her here as a guest so if any of you mess with her it'll be off with your head" She says glaring at the guy who asked her as he looked away in fear,

"Eat up Kathy, you'll never go a day without food anymore" Mrs.Diamond says babying my sister as I smiled at my sister being happy for once,

"Lets clean up" Edith says into my ear after a few of the men on the table left their finished plates leaving just Mrs.Diamond and a few other men who were finishing their cakes,

I picked up the plates handing it to Edith as she stacked them onto a rolling table like thing that she used to bring in the food earlier.

After me and Edith finished cleaning the table we worked together in the kitchen cleaning the dishes while the other maids worked on fixing the kitchenwares and everything else that needed to be put back neatly.

"Jezzabelle, after you finish with that can you take this plate up to my son's office which is the room right next to his bedroom" Mrs.Diamond says walking up to me while holding my sleeping sister in her arms as I nod while wiping my forehead,
