They say that all good love stories start on a Friday. To be honest I don't even know if that's true but all I know is that was the day I gave my heart away to Rooben Antonopoulos, it was a Friday. And my life was forever changed.
You know how in a good romantic movie there is always that scene when the hero and heroine are together and it's raining and it's really dramatic and they embrace and kiss? Well it was definitely raining the first time Rooben's lips touched mine after he confessed his love to me, that being said, it does rain 200 days out of the year in England. The may just be a quote from Wild Child but I believe it to be true.
You see, love isn't something that you expect. Love isn't something that you see coming from a mile away. Love is unexpected. All consuming. All encompassing. And when you lose it... it's devastating. Because you can't lose something that wasn't there to begin with. I thought he loved me. But love doesn't lie. It doesn't cheat. It doesn't ruin the person you built yourself up to be. And now, I'll never give me heart away again.
