Sitting in July's bedroom, I am thinking about my life. Or in better words, the mess that my life is. I don't really know what to do. Walking in on Rooben with that girl had destroyed me. With anger yet also... Jealousy. It should have been me all over him - it should have been me.

I decide to go home. I look at my watch, it's nearly six so my mum will be on her way back home after cleaning people's toilets all day. I grab my stuff and leave July's bedroom.

As I'm putting my shoes on, (which have so many holes in that my toes poke out, but they remind me of my dad) July comes to say goodbye.
"Just ignore Rooben, he doesn't know a good thing when he sees it"
"Thanks girl, I think I just need to go home."
And with that I open the door and start the long walk home, as I have no money for the bus.

Once I arrive home all I can't think about is my mother and I instantly think about when she was here.
