escape
escape from reality
a slit on her wrist
soon followed by two or three
all covering both her arms and legs
until only a group filled with lies remains after she left.

‛ SLUT’
She sighed.
Ahh, it's happened again.
She glanced left and right in hopes to spot the perpetraitor of the sloppy written tag on her locker, but in vain.
They're probably hiding.
Pussies.
She clicked her tongue and unlocked her locker. Out of it fell a cascade of folded papers that she didn't even bother checking out because she already knew what what written on them.
That one word that described her best.
Slut.
That's all she was, after all. A slut.
She scoffed silently as she took out her books.
I'm not even getting paid for this.
She slammed her locker closed and turned around. She hugged her books close to her chest and sprinted down the corridor. Her jaw clenched painfully hard, alerting her of the arriving waterfall that's going to escape her eyes.
Ugh, not this shit.
She frowned mecontently and headed straight to the ladies bathroom. She bumped shoulders with a guy she didn't even bother glancing at. He even apologized when clearly she ran into him. A small part of her feels a little bad for the boy, but she didn't stop and even sped up her pace. She raced down the corridors and skillfully avoided any contact with other students and successfully reached her destination.
She pushed the door open with her forearm and burst into the bathroom. She was about to throw her bag into an unused sink, but instead stopped dead in her tracks when she spotted a familiar [Choose Hair Colour]ette repeatedly splashing her face with clear tap water.
‟[Last Name]?”
The girl looked up, her face dripping wet. Her slightly reddened sclera and overall puffy eyes and runny nose were details that didn't go unnoticed by her classmate. A small sound of confusion, soon followed by a small yelp of surprise escaped her lips. The girl turned to wipe at her face, her eyes especially.
Hagakure stood motionless, like a frozen statue. She couldn't take her eyes off [Name] and she couldn't help but wonder.
Why did she cry?
Both girls weren't even that close. They spoke as classmates, with respect and kindness, but no real friendship was born between both due to the little time they spent together and knew each other. They felt no need to rush.
