escape
escape from reality
a slit on her wrist
soon followed by two or three
all covering both her arms and legs
until only a group filled with lies remains after she left.

Ashido wakes up at five in the morning. She turns the lights of the living room on and heads to the bedroom next to hers first. She softly knocks on the door and waits for a few seconds. No response.
She knocks again and puts her ear against the door, then waits a few seconds. Still no answer. She sighs and swings the door open.
‟Dad.”
She had wanted to sound more brave and called out louder to the middle aged man sprawled on the matress of the twin sized bed. Being way too used to the strong scent of the alcohol, she doesn't even scrunch her nose in disgust anymore.
As expected, the man sleeps soundly and doesn't give her any answer. It takes her all her willpower to not slap the sleep out of him to wake him up and instead, she balls her hands into tight fists and slowly breathes in and out. The pinkette then turns and heads out of the bedroom.
She marches down the corridor and heads into her bedroom. She grabs her towel and then stomps towards the bathroom. She heads inside and locks the door behind herself. She strips down until she's completely naked and carelessly leaves her clothes piled up on the bathroom floor. She hops into the bath and wastes no time to turn the water on.
Her shower lasts a short ten minutes. She wraps her towel around herself and tip toes towards her bedroom. She closes the door behind herself and dries herself briefly before taking a seat at the egde of her bed. She unplugs her phone and slowly falls back on her fluffy bed.
She unlocks her phone and takes a look at all the notifications showing in her notification bar. The first one she notices is the late night discussion that was held in the group that none but Kirishima had called 'the squad'. She presses the notification and instantly, the discussion pops up on her screen. She briefly scrolls up the messages, soon finding out that it was just the boys having a debate about a new meme that Sero sent in the chat.
Ashido lets out a small snort.
Couldn't expect less from Sero the meme master.
She goes through her other social medias and clears her notifications, until none are left and before she knows it, it's almost a quarter to six. With a sigh, she locks her phone and puts it down next to her face. She brings her hands up to her eyes to briefly rub them whilst a yawn escapes her lips, then stretches her arms with a small whine.
She relaxes her muscles and drops her arms on the bed she's laid upon with a groan. She bats her eyelashes and stares absentmindedly at the ceiling, as well as the lonely LED light bulb hanging above her head, barely held by a few cables that peek out of the hole in the ceiling.
Silence befalls upon the pinkette, engulfing her and her bedroom whole. She can hear her own breath, which matches the rythm at which her chest rises and falls repeatedly, and nothing else. She frowns pensively.
