Ame's
Esdeath sat down on the bench--sitting next to me--after giving me a kind comment on my performance. "Say, what's your name?" She asked me with, what I hope is, a happy tone. I gave my besr false smile. "My name is Ame." I gave a simple and calm response.
My exterior was calm and friendly, but inside I was shaking and fearful. 'Esdeath... She smells of nothing but death and I can just feel her cruelty seeping out from under this kind mask she's put on. To think... we have the same type of Teigu... Both Extract types with the powers of ice.' my thoughts were cut off when she stood up.
"It was a pleasure meeting you. I must be on my way." and with that, she walked away. 'If we were to fight... which one of us will be left alive? My ice and Water... or her ice... I wonder... and fear...'
My thoughts were once again cut off by a pain ringing through my mind. An image of Bulat flashed through my mind in red. "So another one of us has fallen..." I mumbled to myself. I held back tears as I begin to strum my guitar. 'I have lost another comrade...'

I packed up my guitar once my song was over, and walked back to the base. "I don't know wether or not the effects of eating that Danger Beast is a good thing... or a bad thing, anymore..." I murmured as I disappeared into the forest. Rain pouring down to replace my tears... and fail to wash away my sorrow.
Najenda's POV
Ame returned just as Akame and Lubbock had returned and Tatsumi had finished reporting on Bulat. Her bangs shadowed over her eyes as she slowly strolled by. "Ame... Aniki... He... He was-"
Tatsumi was cut off by the girl. "I know." She said flatly before walking away.
"How does she already know?" Tatsumi asked. " Well, Bulat isn't standing here with us and his battle cries he does while training aren't ringing through the base. Of course she would figure it out easily." Mine answered in a logical yet sorrowful tone.
Leone looked to the direction that the girl went. "I wonder if she's alright? she seemed kind of off just now..."
We all noded in agreement. "I'll go and check on her." Lubbock suggested and ran after her after I gave a nod.
Lubbock's POV
I walked around to where I thought Ame wondered off to till I found her in the storage room, crouched in a corner with her face buried in her arms.
I approached her slowly and quietly. "Ame... are you alright?" I asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. She shock her head As a 'no' and shifted her body to face me, not lifting her head.
"Why..? Why do we have to loose our friends..?" Her voice was shaky and I could tell she was holding back tears. her head then shot up and she looked at me with tear filled eyes. "Why is it that everyone around me dies!?" tears streamed down her cheeks and she looked so vulnerable.
Without thinking, I pulled her into my chest and rested my hand on her head and back. "You've been strong for long enough. It's okay to cry now."
And she did. She finally cried and let down her walls that kept her from falling, but sometime you have to fall before you fly high.
"If you tell anyone about me crying... I'll hit you... but... Thank you."
