////Chapter 14////

They were in their own world. Their bodies facing other friends, their voices to other people. Mina would occasionally hear Chaeyoung laugh or tease Dahyun about Sana (they became friends really fast, it was amazing) but Mina was to involved in her game she would shrug it off.

Nayeon and Sana were sitting in the kitchen, cooking food for the kids. Jeongyeon had to help her father with the business so Nayeon was sulking to which she told Jihyo. "You guys will see each other tomorrow, relax." Jihyo sighed, looking at the cookies hidden behind the small glass frame on the oven.

"But still! I wanna see my baby." Nayeon pouted, Jihyo reacted with a fake vomiting action.

"You make me cringe." Jihyo gagged, looking at Nayeon with playful disgusted face. The latter rolled her eyes, lightly hitting Jihyo on the arm. Her eyes wandered around the living room, seeing how Chaeyoung and Mina were so close to each other yet so far.

"I ship them." Nayeon smirked. Jihyo looked up at the eldest, trying to understand.

"Mina and Chaeyoung?" Jihyo smiled. She couldn't help but agree, those two acted like an old couple, always arguing about the smallest of things.

"Yeah." Nayeon chuckled as she would see Mina secretly glance at the tiger cub. Though the latter doesn't notice at all, making Nayeon subtly grunt. What a dense idiot. "Doesn't Mina have a boyfriend?"

Jihyo shook her head, opening the oven head, "BamBam? They're friends now but they broke up months ago. Mina said she just didn't feel anything so they broke it off. Which is alright, I guess, BamBam was sad but he got over it quickly."

Nayeon hummed, "Probably wasn't serious." Jihyo nodded at the eldest's comment, taking the tray of cookies out, her gloves holding onto the metal holder tightly.

"Yeah." Jihyo glanced at Mina, "But she also wasn't ready for that relationship. They moved to fast."

"Wow." Nayeon chuckled softly. Jihyo looked at the eldest, raising an eyebrow probably confused, "You sound like an expert in love."

Jihyo rolled her eyes, "Don't even."

"How about Chaeyoung?" Jihyo hummed, sitting down at the dinner table. The smell of the baked cookies made its way around the kitchen, tempting the her to take one but Nayeon was on watch. "Did she ever date someone?" Jihyo asked.

Nayeon nodded, "Yeah. They dated for about 2 years but the other had to move. Chaeyoung tried to keep the relationship going, but she got tired with all the lies her partner kept telling her. Eventually they broke it off." The eldest sighed, looking at Chaeyoung who seemed to have fun with Dahyun, "Kid was pretty heartbroken at first but she moved on."

Jihyo frowned, "2 years is long."

"Not for a relationship that seemed forced." Nayeon let out a heavy sigh, "It was kind of one-sided. In a way, that girl used Chaeyoung to be recognized. Thankfully, Chaeyoung realized this and eventually just kicked that girl out of her life."

"Ouch." Jihyo commented, leaning back on her chair. She always wanted to sympathize with heartbroken people but by the way Nayeon explains it, Chaeyoung seemed to have moved on quicker than others.

"Jeongyeon and I saw it coming. Chaeyoung, she was just to head over heels for that girl." Nayeon chuckled, remembering the times that tiger would non-stop chat about her ex-girlfriend.

"What's her name? Maybe I know her." Jihyo switched her attention to Nayeon, her eyes meeting with the latter.

"Jeon Somi. She left. Honestly, she was a good kid but then she changed. I don't even know why." Nayeon sighed, reminiscing the times she had with Somi. (I don't hate Somi she was just fitting as Chaeyoung's ex. Lol I love her.)
