My heart goes out to all the people in Sudan. Please stay strong, it may be a dark place right now but even when the world is so bad, there is always a little bit of hope to hold on to. You all will be in our hearts, on our minds and in our prayers 💙
////Chapter 47////
"Wow, the project looks nice when Seongwoo isn't here." Momo sighed, falling onto Mina's couch after they spent a good amount of time rereading their slides.
"Anything looks nice when Seongwoo isn't around." Chaeyoung chirped, walking in with a plate of cookes clutched in her hand.
Mina and Momo chuckled at the comment, not surprised that the tiger even made such a comment. Today was the day where most of everyone had decided to hang out at Mina's condo. Reason? Nothing really, everyone had nothing to do so, hanging out was the best way to get rid of the boredom.
"Dang, these cookies are good!" Nayeon smiled, looking up from her plate, "Who baked these?"
Momo glanced at the other two before looking at the eldest of their group, "Jeongyeon."
Nayeon sighed, pushing the plate away, "Nevermind. They taste ok, I guess." The response led to her three friends groaning in disappointment. Their argument has been going on for a while, and the whole group is literally suffering. Jeongyeon is talking with the others while Nayeon is talking to these three about everything, as well.
"Seriously?" Chaeyoung replied, "You two need to talk things out." Her tone was impatient, however, it was pretty understandable. Chaeyoung was Nayeon's scape goat and literally ranted about Jeongyeon for about three hours long, which also consisted of mild crying, at midnight.
"It's complicated."
Mina shook her head, "It isn't." She chuckled, looking at the eldest, "Unnie, maybe you should try to listen to Jeongyeon at least? I mean, it wouldn't hurt, right?" Her tone was soft, hoping that it would change Nayeon's attitude towards the situation.
"When I'm ready." Her response was a little late, but it was still to quick. Nayeon huffed, leaning back on the couch she crossed her arms.
"And when is that?" Momo questioned, fully turning herself towards Nayeon, "Never? Dude, just talk to her." Her sentence was a little teasing but Nayeon used it as a way to target the sudden informal language used.
"Hey!" Nayeon stood up, "Respect your elders!" She whined, jokingly grabbing Momo's collar. The latter giggled, sputtering how it tickled her nape.
Momo laughed, "Are you sure you're older than us? I mean, doesn't really seem like it." Her laughter echoed when Nayeon started to throw a fit of tickles towards Momo. The two were then distracted by throwing insults at each other as they tickled one another. It was typical.
Chaeyoung chuckled before turning to Mina, "Hey," She yawned, "I'm just gonna go down to the Convenient store to buy some treats. I'll be back in a bit."
Mina nodded, smiling, "Alright, stay safe." She chuckled, giving Chaeyoung a quick kiss on the lips. If Nayeon and Momo weren't play wrestling, then they probably would have teased their show of affection. Which they didn't, thankfully.
Chaeyoung giggled, "Love you~" She smiled, her grin reaching to her cheeks.
Mina couldn't help but chuckle at the cute action, "Love you too." She laughed, waving goodbye as Chaeyoung left her condo.
Mina looked back at the sight in front of her, surprised that the two older girls were still fighting. She sighed, unsure of whether or not the two girls were their actual age or if they were somehow children.
