Fangs eyes were emotionless.
How have you changed so much?

"I wish..."

-FLASHBACK-

Fangs pov

I was tired, bone-tired. It was one rough day at the office, considering all the paper work I had to do.

I unlocked my apartment's door,
Then looked for the on and off switch for the lights..
Ah.

*click*

"SURPRISE!"
The lights were brightly shining on Ying's face. She was carrying a cake with candles laid on top.

Wait, does this mean..?

"Happy birthday Fang!" She placed the cake down hurriedly and jumped at me. "Oof!"

"Youre heavy.." I insulted as I carried her.

Ying giggled. "Happy birthdaay~"

I smiled at her. "Thanks... Damn, I was too busy that I forgot."

"Gee, 'Mr. I have to do a lot of stuff' ! Forgetting your birthday, eh? You dont remember, but your girlfriend does!"
She pouted, finally standing on her own feet as I put her down.

"Whatever." I lazily commented and pulled her close enough so that I could kiss her.

"Mmf!" She pulled away in just a while, making me a bit grumpy.

"No kisses!" She strictly said, pushing me away with two hands on my shoulders. I looked at her with satisfaction.
She was cute when like this.

"What are you looking at?!" She blushed, covering my eyes.

"Idiot, nothing!!"

"Ishhhh, it better be." She rolled her eyes at me, making me want to cuddle her even more.
Her eyes shifted back to the cake.
"Anyway!" She smiled widely at me.

"Make a wish!"

I stared at her beautiful features, before looking at the fire lit on the multicolored candles.

"I wish for eternal happiness."
I said, cupping her cheek.

"Its granted th--"

"With you." I cut her off, making her look a bit flushed.

-FLASHBACK END-

What happened to you?
Why did you change so much?

Why did you leave me hanging?

"I wish you'd finally find the happiness you've always wanted, even if I'm not in it."

Be happy, Fang.

"Is that all?"

"Yeah." Even if there were a million more things I wanted to say.

You turned, leaving, then I took a deep breath, smiling---

"Goodbye, Ying."

..heh....I could finally move on.
