Khushi's sleep had got disturbed when she felt the restless moments beside her & groggily opened her eyes to see, only to find Arnav sweating furiously & breathing heavily which made her alert in an instant turning fully towards him as he jerked up sitting disoriented & scared. He had such a heartbroken look on his face, shaking badly as if he is breaking down in pieces which he is desperately trying to hold himself & she couldn't see him like this instinctively pulled him into hug which she felt reciprocated moments later as he tightened his arms around her as if holding for dear life, like he is drowning & she is his lifesaver. They silently stayed in each other's arms finding solace for how long they don't' know but soon it was broken when she felt him pulling back & halfheartedly she let go off him.

Arnav calmed himself in her embrace, taking comfort but soon the trance broke as realization dawned upon him making him instantly pull back as he looked here & there trying to avoid her gaze. After few moments of silence he heard her ask: "Are you okay?"

He nodded replying quietly: "Yeah, I'm fine, thank you & sorry for disturbing you. Tum so jao"immediately laid on his side facing other side & facing his back to her muttering "Good night" an indication for her that he clearly doesn't wanna talk about it.
But that doesn't stop her from worrying about him & also making her realize how guarded he has turned & it's going to be long task of breaking his walls. But for now she silently lay back but kept glancing at his back wearily while sleep was far away.
