√Yo bae AshHalfABlueSky FOR YA!

Your POV

I gawk at his lawn as I let everything sink in.

A table and two chairs sit  right in the middle of it,  candles scattered everywhere. The moon is shinning through the cloud,  hitting the porcelain utensil kept in the middle of the table covered with white cloth.

"What happened to your lawn?" I ask again.

He grabs my hand gently as he speaks. "Let's first go there, okay? I will tell you everything."

I nod as he leads me to his lawn through road.  "Wait,we're not going there from our usual route?"

When we were small,  he'd made a treehouse on the tree  that was in his lawn. But the tree was bent, and the branches which were supporting the tree house were just hovering above my lawn, so in an attempt to  surprise Liam by getting in  the tree house without him able to see me, I'd climbed up  the fence and onto the brach, then walked into the house and yelled a loud "boo" that  made him jump and scream his heart out.

Since then, we would climb the fence that seperated our  houses with ease to get to the other side of the fence. Too lazy to walk the long route of getting on the road and walk toward each other's front doors.

He laughs whole heartedly at  that. "I should at least put some efforts to make it look like a real date and not like  we're going on a trek or something."

"Yeah, right like a real da—wait what?"  I stopped right in my track.

Was I hearing things? Or is it my brain running it's another episode of perfect illusions?

He tugged onto my arm to make me keep walking till  we finally reached his lawn.

He took the chair out for me to sit, then walked over to his side and sat down.

"Better now." He smiled up at me. "You may procede bombarding me with questions."

I hit his arm resting on the table. "Poop-faced."  I fold my hands over my chest.

"Woah I didn't expected that."

"Stop this prank before it gets  too serious. Seriously, Liam, I never thought that you'll think of making fun of my feelings for you and pran—"

His pointer finger touched my lips to shut me up. "Shh. I am not making fun of you or your feelings. This is a real date."

"B-b-but-I-you-us-wha-why-how?" My mind is blank. I officially forgot English.

He smiled fondly at me. "I knew I was getting this."

I frowned. "Anyone in my place would be fazed if the one who they loved with all of their heart had said that the feelings are stupid and they should just keep their relationship to friendship, and then now that same one  person took them out on a date."

"Let me explain it all to you, okay?" He sighed. "I've had always thought of our friendship as the strongest bond. But then one day you walked up to me and told me how you've been head over heels for me. It was mind  fazing for me, okay?—" He paused to look at me, and I nodded for him to proceded.

"I thought— I thought that,"  he lets out a frustrated groan as he pulls at his hair on his head. "I don't know what I was thinking. I was stupid all along. I thought that after that, it would be different.  That if we both engage in a  relationship it would affect  our friendship in someway, and you know that I cherish  our friendship. I had feelings for you, I admit it, but I couldn't understand that at that time. I thought that if I start hanging out with other girls more and spread rumors  that I slept with them, maybe your love for me would die down. I was afraid of you and me becoming us. That's why I  acted that way."

A soft expression replaced the frown on my face as I spoke. "Then what made you realise that you've liked me too and that you want us to happen?"

"Since the day you made friends with that shit faced Ron." He frowned at the bringing up of his name.

"Manners, Liam. Manners. You should never talk shit about a person behind their back."

He rolled his eyes. "I realised  that I was jealous of your attatchment with him. At first I couldn't lay my finger on why I would feel that, but then it got all clear."

I just smiled at that.

We ate the food that had already been on the table in the untensils silently. Not the  awkward silence though; it was a good, peaceful silence.

After we finished eating, we laid down on the mats that were already spread on the lawn— stargazing!

Liam knows how much I love watching the night sky.

We were sprawled across in  his lawn, cuddling comfortably when he spoke those three beautiful words. "I love you (Y/N), I love you very much."
