"You sure you're ready for this?" I asked Maggie as we were lying in bed at the hilltop

"more than ever," she said I didn't smile I was scared for her. We're going to war and she's gonna be there, I didn't want her to go but there's no way she's gonna stay, stubborn as a damn mule. I kissed her shoulder "don't worry," she said while getting up

"I don't want to lose you... and the baby," I said to her

"you won't," she said reassuring me "we have to do the first part, and then we'll leave and go on that supply run" she kissed me on the cheek and I looked deeply in her eyes.

"Mags... if I get trapped, surrounded, or something happens... don't try to save me," I said to her she shook her head

"You're not gonna die," she said to me

"you never know, Mags... in this world, anything can happen." She cried

"I have too, Rick... I can't lose you" I leaned against her

"yes you can... you are strong...you're a great leader better than me." I said to her she kept shaking her head "Mags... this war is a future for our child, for Carl, for Judith. We're making them have a life kinda like what we had" I said to her she looked at me

"We're gonna live" I nodded but part of me knew that I might die and she might, I just hope that's of old age.

"I have to go to Alexandria, to say goodbye to Carl and Judith, we'll meet at the rally point," I said to her she nodded, and we kissed "I'll see you soon,"

After a long couple of hours, I've finally made it to the rally point. I saw Maggie standing with King Ezekiel and Jesus, I got out of the car and ran to her, I kissed her and hugged her "I missed you" she said

"I missed you too" we broke apart and talked about the plan

"We go in, we distract them for as long as we can... we'll try to kill Negan but we're not gonna risk getting ourselves killed." I told everyone "we start to shoot as much savours as possible then we leave when the herd is approaching... Gabriel will take the RV and drive it in the Sanctuary leaving a huge pathway for the walkers" I continued saying "today we end it... we end everything... we will win. We can have a future. The world is ours by right... we've come together for it, the future is ours." Everyone cheered "Only one man has to die, and that is Negan... and I'll kill him, I will." I said I will no matter what. Maggie continued on smiling at me and I turned to her while smiling back, I will.

We pulled up to the sanctuary getting prepared for what's about to happen. I and Maggie stood next to each other "you ready?" I asked her she nodded. We all started to shoot in the sky, and we waited for them to come out.

"Well hello there," Negan said as him and his lieutenants walked out the door. "I'm sorry... I was in a meeting" he told us as I nodded to everyone. "Look at this... Ricky and his fucking piss patrol" he yelled at us. "I care about my fucking people... so I'm not gonna march to war and play my dick is bigger than yours... it is we both know it," he said to as I looked to Maggie and saw she rolled her eyes
