Chapter 2: I don't know him

When Kengkla came back after that incident he never said a word or even look towards the direction of Techno. Techno also, not wanting to annoy the younger, decided to just let it all be. The two boys, although literally living together, tried their best to get out of each other's way and just completely ignore each other's existence.

It's the first day of school and Techno was running late for his first class. He can't believe he slept through his alarm. Kengkla didn't even woke him up, but what did he expect really? When Techno woke up Kengkla already left. And just as Techno thought his day couldn't be worse his motorcycle just had to act up and would not start so he had to call a cab to school.

"Why were you late this morning?" Type asked No while they were eating their lunch at their faculty's cafeteria.

"I overslept." Techno was still annoyed, because he was late for almost 15 mins their professor made him stand at the back for the whole session. Techno's legs were tired from all the running and the standing.

As Techno was contemplating how his day could get any worse he received a phone call, it's from Technic.

"What is it?" Techno sounded annoyed.

"Who hurt you P', you sound pissed?" Techno was about to answer when Technic continued, "Never mind P' I don't really care about that because I have bigger problems. I forgot my wallet at home, I don't have money with me right now can you give me some? Please P'No."

Sometimes Techno wonders if clumsiness runs in the family.

"Sure sure just come at my faculty I'll lend you some."

"Can't you come instead P', we're currently doing some works with my groupmates and I can't leave. Besides you have your motorcycle. Please P'."

"I don't ha.." Techno's words were cut off by Technic.

"Thank you P', you're really the best. Just call me when you're already here." Technic immediately says and hangs up.

Why do I have the most annoying brother?

Techno, the best brother that he is, was on his way to the faculty of communication arts. He was distracted by a call from Technic so he did not see a car that was fast approaching his way. Techno was just startled by the loud sound of a horn and the abrupt break of the car, it made Techno a little out of balance and fell butt first to the ground.

Techno saw a pretty girl came out from the car. He didn't know who the girl was but somehow the car looks quite familiar. And he was right when Kengkla followed and came out from the car.

"Kengkla"

"Kengkla do you know him?" The pretty girl asks Kengkla before turning to help Techno up. "We're really sorry P', we didn't immediately see you."

"It's okay, it was my fault I got distracted." Techno was dusting off the dirt on his uniforn.

"Are you really okay P'? Kengkla help him or something." The girl tells Kengkla in which Kengkla just ignored.

"I'm really okay, don't worry. You two can go now." Techno tells the girl as he saw the annoyance on Kengkla's face.

"Okay P'. See you around." The girl says before returning to the car.

"Do you know him? I heard him call your name earlier." The girl asked Kla as they started moving.

Kengkla looked at the side mirror and saw Techno walking away holding his wrist. A frown formed on Kengkla's face.

Can anyone be more clumsy? He always ends up hurting himself, that idiot.

"No, I don't know him".

Techno went home with a throbbing pain in his wrist. He accidentally used his hand as support when he fell earlier. But recalling what happened earlier he doesn't know which hurt more, his butt, his wrist, or seeing Kengkla with a girl.

It's almost two years, Techno didn't know he would still be reacting the same way everytime he sees Kengkla with another person.

When Techno opened the door to their dormitory he was surprised to see Kengkla already there, he figured Kengkla would still be hanging out with that girl.

Techno went straight to the bathroom and showered with little difficulty because of his wrist. When he came out of the bathroom he was ready to go to bed.

Just as he was ready to sleep he heard Kengkla say "You're seriously sleeping like that?"

Techno was a little taken aback, this was the first time Kengkla said something to him in more than a week, but he kept his cool and replied while facing the younger, "I'm a little tired so I'm going to sleep first."

Kengkla then got up from his bed and went to Techno's side and grabbed his wrist a little too harshly which made Techno wince because of the pain.

"It's a bit swollen and you're just going to leave it like that?" Kengkla sounded annoyed but it made Techno a little happy.

"It's fine, it doesn't hurt that much, I'm sure tomorrow it will all be better."

Kengkla sighed and got up. When he returned he had some ice wrapped in a cloth.

"Put this on your wrist for 15 minutes. If you're sleepy just hold it a little longer. It's your fault for being clumsy."

Kengkla then grabbed a towel and started drying Techno's hair.

Kengkla's demeanor was cold but it sent a feeling of warmth to Techno.

"I'm fine Kla, you don't have to do this much."

Upon hearing Kengkla's reply Techno felt soft and guilty for the boy at the same time.

"I told you P', I can't be as cruel as you. I can pretend not to know you but at times like this I can't pretend not to care."
