14 | her mirror, his mirror

She stared at her naked reflection in the mirror.

She hated how crooked her teeth were,
how utterly bizarre they looked.

She despised how big her lower lip was,
and how extremely pale her lips appeared.

She tried not to even look at her eyes;
her boring, brown eyes with nothing special and nothing pretty about them.

She skimmed her body,
with all its blemishes and imperfections,
and hated how her too wide of a waist didn't go with the rest of her body.

She didn't think she was beautiful.
Heck, she didn't even think she was
ok-looking...

He stared at her, naked, as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.

He loved how crooked her teeth were,
how utterly special and unique her grin was.
He cracked up jokes whenever he was around her,
his heart skipping a beat whenever he saw her smile.

He stared at her lips and got sucked into a million, sparkling memories.
The first time he kissed her,
how she was too shy to look at him after it.
The first time she whispered his name and shivered between his arms.
And oh God, did he love biting her luscious lower lip and hearing her moan.

He looked at her eyes and knew that he had them memorised a long time ago.
He loved how the sun rays shone down on them,
and how they sparkled whenever she talked about something she absolutely adored.
He remembered hundred of incidents when he was broken and down,
and found a haven in her eyes,
with no judgement or questions.

He finally gazed at her body,
amazed and marvelled;
his fingertips itching to touch her smooth, silky skin.
God knows how much he savoured every time his lips and tongue kissed her skin.
He tried to burn the memories to his brain,
but ended up getting surprised every time,
by how absolutely delicious and exotic
she tastes.
He loved how his arms fit around her waist perfectly,
like they were two puzzle pieces that were meant to be.

And he knew, she was not just beautiful. She was absolutely drop. dead. gorgeous.
