_"why didn't you tell me " he asked
I froze my eyes going in all directions to find the right answer and not get my self or ali in trouble
_" look don't get mad he is young  ".
He looked confused by what i was saying
_" my father might be energetic but he isn't that young " he laughed
_" huh? What? You meant your father? ".
_" you didn't tell me that you wanted to go back to university, he told me that he arranged everything for you ".
How stupid i can be i almost exposed ali

_" ah yes, you looked busy i didn't want to annoy you ".
_" who did you thought i was talking about? ".
i am not very good at lying how should i avoid this
_" i thought you were talking about ali's school grades that's it " i said looking down my hands coming together
_" what does that have to do with you? ".
My stupidity took a lead again

_" uh nothing... ".
_" you didn't attempt to make another mission impossible? ".
_"what?..... " i was so confused and i sure looked so dumb to him
_" like that time in the hospital where you sneaked out and hide from my mother ".
_" oh no...... "
_" why are you acting weird? Are you okay? ".
_" no it's just that we never had a conversation this long it's weird " then i gave him my back closing my eyes firmly because of how frustrating the situation was
_" hmm " i heard him humming
At that moment ali knocked
_" mira, i need to talk to you it's urgent ".
_" ali? Come  ". Okba called him in
He came in with heavy steps his face pale and he widened his eyes as if to tell me that he needed something
_" i need mira in something so i will steal her from you for a while ".
Okba raised a questioning brow
_" what do you need her for? ".
Ali looked at me then at him , the stress obvious through his figure
_" i just need her in  something ".
_" i see you two have secrets " he gave us a half smile
Seeing that ali was pressed i excused myself and he followed
_" ugh that jealous brat " he muttered under his breath
_" what happend? Why did you need me? ".
_" the guy contacted me again, he gave me 5 days the jerk  ".
_" we'll solve it this week. Today it's gonna be noticed by everyone ".
I calmed him down and assured him that everything is going to be alright.

i used the excuse of University to go with ali
After getting the money from the bank we headed straight to the address that the guy gave him
I insisted on accompanying him even if that meant watching from afar

The place was somehow empty
A guy wearing red jacket and black pants waited beside a tree
I ended up exchanging my earings too and with some of the money that ali had we could have the amount we needed

I saw the guy grabbing ali's t-shirt collar
So i got out of the car to join them
Ali pushed him away after exchanging menacing stares with him and came my way
_"what are you doing here i told you to stay in the car!".
_"the situation didn't seem good so i got worried, what did he say to you?".
_" he just told me to never deal with him again ".

On the raod ali was silent looking at me from time to time as if he wanted to tell me something
Arriving home he parcked the car and we walked side by side slowly
_" why did you insisted on accompanying me? You didn't trust me right? ". He said looking down
_" no, of course not it's that i was worried ".
The truth is i was afraid that he will buy drugs again but i didn't dare to tell him
_" you are not good at lying....... I know what i did was bad but this will not happen again i swear to God and you will be the witness of this promise ".
He stopped and faced me with teary eyes that expressed his sadness
_" you don't know how much i hate myself now mira.... I am afraid God will never forgive me ". He said with shaky voice he was at the edge of crying
_" we all make mistakes, it doesn't mater if it's a big one or no if allah doesn't forgive us then who will? By saying this you are doubting god's mercy.... the fact that he let you live until this moment where you are fixing things up, and when he directed me that night to your room and today when we solved it..... This all means that he forgave you... never doubt that  ".
His tears escaped and at that moment i couldn't help but hug him while he did the same tightly
_" you are the only one whom i can tell this to " he said detaching away
_" i will never forget what you did for me ".
After that he tried to change the mood by coming back to his funny self and i was lauphing at every joke he told

Looking up
Okba sat in the balcony staring at us
Rays from sunset kissed his figure
It's been 3 days since he got out of the hospital, i 've been taking care of him since he was more talkative than usual
Today however i was absent
_" invent something, and don't let him know.... He is good at questioning " warned ali

Going up after a session of questioning by my mother in law i found okba still in his position
_" al salam alaikom ".
_" salam " he said without looking my way
_" let me help you get inside and change your clothes ".
He still didn't look my direction
_" you stayed out all day "
_" i needed to deal with some stuff in university " he then looked up at me
_"with ali? ".
_" yes" i said coming closer, his stare was suspicious
_"you told me that you don't even shake men's hands and now you hug him freely in the garden as if it was something normal to do ........  i didn't know that you two were this close to him " he said with a half smile
Is he questioning my manners and honor again?
I came even closer my jaw tightning expressing my irritation and lowered my head so my face could face his
We were 10 cm away and i had  cold gaze in my eyes
I raised an eyebrow and give him the exact same half grin he always gave me

His balance drop off and the mocking smile on his face faded away exposing a very frustrated okba
