i spent the whole week studying for my exams

luckily i had something to distract myself with , or else i would have gone crazy

i was so angry at myself and ..........him , because no matter how many excuses i made inside my head they couldn't erase that feeling of humiliation i had

okba didn't respect the doctor's orders and went to work everyday , he avoided me too and i didn't complain this time

however today was an off day , he was in the balcony talking on the phone while i was reading a book on the sofa

_" here , your necklace " said ali sitting beside me

it was the necklace i put in the bank in exchange for money , i was so happy to get it back

_" i finally got the money , since i did well on my exams " he added

_" thank you so much ".

_" it's me who should thank you , if it wasn't for you........" he smiled warmly

i patted his shoulder

_" don't mention it .......i am really proud of you and i am so glad i have you by my side " i said n continued gazing at the man he is becoming

it is true i was really proud of him , each day he was becoming a better person and i was so happy to witness that change

_" me too " he whispered warmly

_" i can't wait for you to be born , i will be the happiest uncle on planet " he said talking to my tummy while i patted his head , lately he does that a lot and it warms my heart each time

i lifted my head to see okba looking at us through the glass he stared for a while with a clear envy before slowly lowering his gaze and sitting back on one of the chairs

we became distant again the only contact between us was through eyes and few words

i coudln't help but be mad at him , he on the other hand didn't try to make it up

Suddenly we heard the doorbell
I went to see who
Opening it i was greeted with a blonde hair
When she lifted her head i recognized her immediately
_"amel!? " i said surprised
She looked at me with wide eyes as if she wasn't expecting me
_" oh mira! " we looked at each other for a while in an awkward situation
_" amel... " i heard okba saying behind me
Looked like he wasn't expecting her also seeing his expression

_" i got you some of the documents you told me about that day " she said

_" you didn't have to come, we will meet tomorrow anyways " he said letting her in

she walked straight to the salon and disposed her stuff , it didn't look like her first time in here

_"if you excuse me i need to use the washroom " she said to okba

_" let me show you the way..... " i stepped in but she stopped me saying that she knows the way

yes ......definitely not her first time here

I prepared some coffee while they sat in the salon chatting

Once finished i headed to them with ali following

_" you didn't have to Mira " said amel

_" no it's a pleasure " i smiled

_" here okba you forgot your watch that night at my house " she said extending the watch to him
He looked troubled and eyed me immediately to see my reaction
