"Me and your father are going to go get your doctor okay sweetheart?" My mom asked me, obviously wanting to be asking me why I tried to kill myself, but she didn't. For that I was thankful.
I don't know why I went through with it. I honestly can't believe I did, my whole life I was preppy and carefree. I had not a worry in the world. Then, high school came around, Tyler was the only person that stayed with me through everything. Ever since we met we knew we were going to be best friends, and we were.
"I'll just leave you two to....talk." My mom said quickly shutting the door. There was a moment of silence before Tyler started;
"Why? Why would you do that to your parents?" He said angry, "To me?" He said softly tears welling up in his eyes.
"Tyler I'm so-" I tried to say before being cut off.
"No Maddie I've been working on this speech since we got here. They said their going to have to send you to a mental hospital. I told them you're ok mentally, that you were having stomach pain and were taking some medicine to help and didn't know how many to take. When your doctor walks through that door you have to tell them exactly what I just said or you'll be in a mental ward for a long time on suicide watch. I can't live with you being away. Hell I would break you out if I had to." He stopped in order to take a breath.
I sat up further feeling dizzy still, he was now sitting on the bed beside me. His word's felt different, he was always so positive all the time. I was the only person he was serous around.
I like it.
I put and arm around his torso and kissed his cheek and it became bright red,just like the first day we met.He looked at me and we exchanged smiles.
"I love you Maddilyn Michelle." He said softly putting his head in my lap
"I know" I said since he was clearly meaning in the friend way. "I love you too."I said sincerely. Even though I always felt feelings for him deep down, I know he doesn't like me back so it's doesn't matter.
Tyler's POV
Oh my god did Maddie just say she loves me. Well I mean she's clearly meaning the friend way.
Not me though.
